    Orla Copacabana Hotel
    the hotel is situated right at the end of the copacobana beach, just before the curve into ipanema. the web page exagerated the pool with a wide angel lens, but it is on the roof overlooking the beach, which is cool. breakfast was good. just remember, if the hotel staff orders anything for you, tours, dinner reservations, or taxi, they make a profit so if you can, order them yourself....More

    Porto Bay Rio Internacional Hotel
    THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ALERTED THEM THAT WE WOULD BE ARRIVING LATER THAN PLANNED. THEY ALSO WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL WITH GIVING SUGGESTIONS AND PROVIDING ARRANGEMENTS FOR TRANSPORTATION, RESTAURANTS, TOURS, AVOIDING THEFTS, AND WALK-AROUND SITES. THE COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT AND THE DINNER WAS EXCELLENT AND REASONABLY PRICED. THE LOCATION WAS IDEAL (AT THE CENTER OF COPACABANA BEACH)AND OUR ROOM HAD A SPECTACULAR VIEW FROM THE BALCONY....More
