The Royal Suites Punta Mita by Palladium All Inclusive
We live in Puerto Vallarta and came to Punta Mita for our anniversary for the weekend. It was great for us because it is very secluded and it allowed us to get away from our daily lives for a weekend. Having said that, if I were visiting Puerto Vallarta, I don't think I would stay in Punta Mita. There isn't much in the area, so mostly you will be staying in the hotel or taking fairly long cab rides into Puerto Vallarta. Also, this was our first time in an all inclusive place, we are kind of 'foodies' and so weren't very impressed with the food. I assume this is to be expected in an all inclusive place. Also, along the same lines, the liquor selection is not great either... some of the bars had Stoli vodka but most only had Oso Negro, so if you care about the quality of liquor you are drinking, bring your own. We stayed on the Royal Suites side of the hotel. The rooms are really nice and it is really quiet on that side of the hotel. The other side is cheaper and all except one of the restaurants/bars are on the other side of the hotel. I think it would be just as good to stay on the non Royal Suites side....More
