    La Perla Negra Beach Resort
    It is thought that 'Hell" is hot... this hotel room is "hotter than hell". The room was to have a ceiling fan; it only had a "box" fan. The only facility that was okay was the pool. They are NO services available.The entire complex of rooms and condos is like something for a para military group. If it were not for the hotel just 5 minutes walk away we would have been miserable couple. We definitely do not even suggest you look at the place, let alone stay there....More

    Totem Hotel Resort
    The room we booked was pretty small and it didn't have a fridge so we move to a suite. It had air conditioning, tv, fridge and two rooms. Not sure about the pricing of it though. Didn't really sit down and do the math. But they did charge us more for when friends came over and ended up sleeping in the 2 extra beds we had. I was pretty annoyed but again I haven't taken the time to do the math its possible they were not charging us the full rate for such a suite. The internet only works in the lobby!...More

    La Perla Negra Beach Resort
    The staff were great. The room was not bad. There IS hot water! No a/c but you dont need it. Fan works just fine. Although its kind of hard to find, after you do find it, the location is perfect. Its right across from the beach and it really gives you a tropical sense of being in Costa Rica....More
