    If you are looking for a place away from the noise of trafic and night life - this is the place. The only sound we heard was the waves crashing! Total relaxation. The check-in could of been a bit nicer, as the manager just gave us instruction to get our key in the mailroom in the reception area via intercom which we couldn't understand very well and then she got upset at us as if we were disturbing her when we ask to repeat. However when we went back for information on tours and spa, they were really helpful....More

    Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise
    There were things about the hotel that were not so great like the pay phones didn't work and the gym equipment did not work and muffins and coffee were supposed to be available at 6:30am but know one was around until about 7am and also the hotel is between either end of the beach where all the activity was so you had to walk 15 m inutes left or 25 minutes right to get to the restaurants and tourist attractions. However, our room was great, the beds and bedding was great, our view was great and it was nice having access to washers and dryers available to do laundry on our long trip, the staff was helpful. Overall the positives outweighed the negatives. I would recommend the hotel....More
