    Velada Merida
    The hotel is in a great location. Near the City Center and the roman ruins. The room was large but the air conditioning was not good. Otherwise the room was fine. The bar/cafe was excellent. Prices were better than any hotel I have ever stayed at and the staff was pleasant....More

    MERIDA PALACE
    When planning a recent trip to Spain, we wanted to spend a day in Avila and the next day in Seville, so I booked an overnight in Merida. It turned out to be a great stop. The hotel was easy to locate, had ample parking, a wonderful pool, a very good restaurant, and a gracious and helpful staff. We throughly enjoyed it. The decor is a bit tacky and somewhat outdated and the room had housed a smoker to two in its past, but it was very clean and quite, a good value, and a funky little change from the classy but inaccessable city hotels we selected for the other nights of our trip....More
