Residenza D Epoca Pietra di Ponente
This B&B style hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Rome in the hills above Ciampino. It is not easy to find, so have good directions; but once you find it you won't ever want to leave. It is a villa an an acre or so of beautifully landscaped grounds with amazing night views of Rome. The hotel provides a driver who will take you to and from the airport, rail station and many local restaurants. From the Ciampino rail station it is only a 15 minute train ride to the center of Rome. They have a small restaurant on site and the rooms are large and clean. The staff is eager to take care of your every need and there is free internet provided using the hotels computer. I highly recommend this establishment....More

Residenza D Epoca Pietra di Ponente
One of the most remarkable hotels we have stayed (Intl pilot so there have been many). An ancient farmhouse totally renovated to a mix of ancient stone house and modern, wrought-iron, open beam - timber décor, set among vineyards and olive trees with a view of Rome. Service was remarkable, not only in attention but in personality. Complimentary transportation to Ciampino Airport and subway station with easy access to all of Rome. Close to the Castelli Romani area....More

Residenza D Epoca Pietra di Ponente
After staying at another hotel that was small and the service was rude, the Residenza D Epoca Pietra di Ponente was a great experience. The rooms are wonderful, clean and comfortable. It is quite and the service exceeds any service I have encountered in my 20 years of extensive travel. The staff could not do enough to accomendate us. It is very quiet with a scenic view at the covered patio's that offer complete relaxation. Ciapiano is a beautiful little town which they provide shuttle service to. It was very easy and quick to get to Rome via the train and then a quick ride on the metro. Next time I travel to Rome, I am going to stay here without any hesitation....More
