    Sanctuary Resort And Spa
    Beware that this hotel is impossible to get to without a 4wd vehicle and that is during dry season, I would bet it is impossible during rainy season. I also caution that the hotel staff is not quite honest about this. Worried about the roads I phoned the hotel and asked if the roads were passable in a small vehicle without 4wd and they said yes just be cautious. We attempted to drive from Nosara Beach in the car we had and ended up turning around, having another hotel hold our luggage and rent ATVs to access the hotel. Despite this, I would recommend the hotel and would return to it in the future. The beach is gorgeous and you have the whole thing to yourself, however do not expect ocean views from the restaurant, pool or most rooms,...More
