    Spiaggia d'Oro Hotel & Resort
    This hotel is outstanding, the staff are professional, kind and eager to meet all of your needs no matter what time of day or night it is, if your planning on working there is no internet available so leave your lap top at home. but, in exchange you will be pampered and enjoy a fabulous veiw and a great little town. The food was great. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to relax and be pampered....More

    Palace Hotel
    The Palace Hotel is not on Lake Garda - you have to cross the street and walk a short distance to the lake front. However, the gardens and swimming pool are well maintained with a lovely patio off the bar overlooking the pool. The lady serving drinks at the bar is very friends and makes a great Italian Spritz! Our room was very comfortable and had a great bath - not always found in Europe! If you get a room on the 2nd floor facing the swimming pool you will have a nice view from the balcony of the lake through the trees. The breakfast buffet included in your room rate was excellent - if you want fried eggs, just ask and they will make them for you. The town of Desenzano del Garde where The Palace Hotel is located is about a 10 minute drive from the town of Sirmione which on the Lake and is very busy. We enjoyed visiting the town, but liked coming home to the peace and tranquility of our hotel. We would definitely recommend it!...More
