    My Hotels La Spezia
    Upon our arrival at the hotel (around 8pm) we were greeted by an unfriendly and unwelcoming front desk clerk. She said there were no parking spots left for the hotel and I would need to drive around to find a spot that would not result in a ticket. Needless to say, this can be very difficult in Italy. I decided that if I did receive a ticket, the '4-Star' hotel would pay for it. The room itself was great, although the shower was very small. We walked to find a restaurant for dinner and found a limited selection. The town did not seem like one that you would want to be in at night. It was not tourist friendly. A good stopover on your way to Cinque Terre, but nothing more. Terrible service from a '4-star' hotel. All interaction with the front desk was poor and not at all helpful....More

    My Hotels La Spezia
    The room floors are tile and you can hear everyone else in their rooms in the hotel. The shower was about 2' X 2'and as I had to shave my legs, my butt busted the door open and I am a petite Asian Woman. The "saving grace" for this hotel was the buffet breakfast that was inclusive in the hotel rate....More

    My Hotels La Spezia
    We used the hotel as our base for visiting Cinque Terre. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station. It's quite and for the most part comfortable. When we were there the temperature was a bit high and the air conditioner in the room didn't keep the room cool -- but that's something I've experienced in other hotels throughout Europe. The location was also convenient to restaurants and shopping....More
