Sercotel Hotel Portales
We had a difficult time finding the hotel since the street was restricted to car traffic. Our GPS had us going up a blocked street. I had read that there was free parking near the hotel, so we located that, and saved $. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit an historic winery, beautiful old buildings and have a variety of excellent tapas bars. We live in Spain half the year, and we know great tapas. The hotel offers breakfast for a price, but there are many restaurants, offering breakfast, nearby for less money. We asked for a room with a view of the square that is nearby, but were promptly told we would be happier in a quiet room at the back of the hotel. We faced a blank wall and laundry hanging out to dry across the way. And, the square was not noisy anyway. This seemed like a 2 1//2 star hotel in a great location with friendly staff (even though they stuck us in a back room)who speak fairly fluent English. The price was a little high, but on par with other hotels in Longrono. A better bargain yet because we found the free parking and cheaper breakfast arrangements. All in all, we do recommend this hotel....More

AC La Rioja
Very good but expensive breakfast. Very minimalist spa and sport comodities. Awful cleaning service, very noisy. No restaurant for lunch in a area where there is almost nothing around. Costly WIFI. I would recommend this place ONLY if you have a fair at the Rioja Forum. For turism in La Rioja, no way!!...More

Hotel Husa Las Canas
This is a hotel which is incoperated into a modern shopping center. It would be suitable for business travel, not resort or vacation use unless you are on a tight budget. It is located outside town in a industrial type setting. The hotel was very plain but clean....More
