The hotel was clean and quiet. It was next to a big Shopping Center. It did require using the train and a short bus ride but that was part of the learning process of getting around Barcelona. It was friendly. On Sunday there was no bus transportation to the mall that did not open on Sundays. We had to walk about 20 minutes to the rail station. I did see a girls hockey team on roller blades training on Sunday morning. It was a good experience and we got to see a little more of Barcelona in our short visit. We chose that hotel because it was a 3 star and not too far from the harbour, where we boarded a cruise ship two days later....More

Impressed with cleanliness of simple hotel rooms and big, newly renovated bathrooms (lots of hot water and strong sprayer). Very friendly and informative multi-lingual staff. A bit of a distance from airport and tourist "must sees", but all of these are fairly easy to get to using efficient bus/train transport. Hotel is across street from large mall with ample shopping, quick-eats, and a grocery store. City center is short bus/taxi ride away and is very cute with friendly (not-too touristy) shops and restaurants. Hotel has on site restaurant, a little on the pricey side, but very good fresh food with selection of local specialties....More
