Kuranda Resort and Spa
This hotel was nice and very natural. I would not have minded staying there, as I expected an elemental rainforest setting but my wife could not sleep there. There was no insulation to keep from rainforest bugs coming in our room and there were huge green-back ants on the gate to the room. I don't want to beat up on the hotel too much, as Kuranda and Australia in general are places where there are many bugs in the open. Just expect that if you stay there. We also saw a 4 foot lizard climb in the main lobby through the open window while we were waiting for our refund....More
