    We had no air conditioning and only one window that opened a crack. The only fan was a desk fan that didn't work. The sheets and bathroom were far from clean. The only bright spot was the wonderful breakfast that was included....More

    Scandic Julia Turku
    It was very cheap, and therefore a no-frills hotel. While room was simply furnished, it was very clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Staff could have been more helpful and pleasant, but they did their job. I would not recommend their restaurant (service was VERY slow and food was nothing to write home about). The location is OK - close to the cathedral but out of the way for the castle, or the train station, or the ferry terminal. Turku is a pretty small and walkable city, though....More
