Hotel Emporio Ixtapa
I have stayed at many hotels around the resorts in Mexico. Emporio was very nice in relation to all of them. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Cable TV channels were a little limited. Ixtapa is a beautiful and very chill place to visit. Very low key and relaxing. Hotel was the same way. Great beach and pool. Never eat at the restaurant so cant comment on the food. Quality golf is very close at the Marina course. All in all, good value and a nice place to stay. I would recommend it....More

Las Brisas Ixtapa
For those interested in the best beach hotel in Ixtapa, this is it. The beach is exclusive as it has natural barriers on both sides, with a 3 minute drive off of the main road to get to the hotel. The rooms all have great ocean views with a very large private balcony. Bring your own coffee (and filters) to avoid charges. The staff always made sure the beach was in perfect condition; beach chairs were always available, with nice large beach towels. Ocean has rough waves here, but was perfect for having fun in the water. We'll be back!...More
