    Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort
This was the third Sheraton we stayed at during our long trip to So. America; the hotel in Rio was very noisy. Premier Copacabana Hotel
The hotel is a good location, 5 minute walk to Copacabana beach but that its only plus point. The front desk staff is not the friendliest. The room I got had two twin beds in it and it didn't have the cleanest look. Overall, not bad for the money though I would not stay there again....More

    Orla Copacabana Hotel
The hotel charged me 150 extra Reals for having a guest! Then when leaving early the next morning to catch a flight the door man had a cab waiting and charged 70 Reals for the cab ride. When I complained that was not the correct cab fare he argued with me. The cab driver said 20 was for the door man and 50 was for his fare! HORRIBLE!! Money hungry staff and hotel adding to Rio De Janeiros already bad reputation of being a trap for tourists. It's a shame, Rio's such a wonderful place for these people to mess it up for travelers!...More
