    Hotels.com rate did not include breakfast, but Gamboa threw that in for us, as a courtesy. Meals were reasonably priced for a resort- a buffet lunch / dinner was available, but cheaper options like sandwiches were available. Spa that we booked as a couple was provided separately for the two of us. We took several tours (Pipeline road birdwatching, Barro Colorado Island, Aerial Tramway), and were satisfied....More

    Gamboa Rainforest Resort
    Overall it is good for a large group since there is a kitchen, but for the price it was not worth it. I stood at cheaper hotels which afford breakfast for a lot less. This hotel wanted 60 USD for just breakfast, there were also no stores close by. If you stay there buy your food and booze in town and bring it up, it is a good 6 miles to the nearest store....More

    Gamboa Rainforest Resort
    The complimentary tours (night tour and nature walk) were wonderful. Saw ample wildlife and the tour staff were pleasant and fun. Rooms were very nice and hammock on balcony was an added bonus. The only downside is that the food at the Corotu restaurant wasn't fabulous but the Chagres it was quite nice. Also, the Spa is well decorated with great amenities and ambiance; however the massages were bad. I don't think the massage "therapists" had been to any training or schooling. It wasn't the worst massage ever, but was pretty lame. Pedicure, facial and $5 hair washing was great!...More
