    Le Dune Sicily Hotel
    I BOOKED THE HOTEL BECAUSE IT OFFERED FREE SHUTTLE TO AIRPORT. WHEN I CALLED FOR AIRPORT PICKUP I WAS TOLD THE SHUTTLE "WAS NOT WORKING THAT DAY". AFTER VARIOUS PHONE CALLS AT $1.00/MINUTE I WAS FORTUNATE TO TALK TO DANIELA. SHE AGREED TO SEND HOTEL CAR TO AIRPORT TO COLLECT ME AND WIFE. BUT AT OUR DEPARTURE TIME (4:30 AM TO AIRPORT) THEY WOULD CALL A "TAXI" FOR 15 EUROS. I AGREED AND HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT THE HOTEL. COURTESY SHUTTLE SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED IF YOU DO NOT MEAN IT....More

    Liberty Hotel
    The Hotel is great. The staff were attentive and gracious. The room was large and very clean. The only downside is that the hotel is uphill from the attractions of Catania. But that is easy to overcome given the number of cafes and eateries along the route to the hotel. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to other travelers....More
