    Hotel Ermione
    I don't think this hotel has been updated since the 1970s. The information on hotels.com said it had a pool...and it did...filled with about 2 ft. of dirty water and looking like it needed serious maintenance. There was a very lovely day desk clerk who was very helpful and nice, but the evening crew left much to be desired as far as overall friendliness were concerned. The food in the restarant was very good and service prompt. The location was excellent, merely steps away from the center of Erice and the funivia. I would, however, stay at the charming little hotels in the center rather than go back here....More

    Hotel La Pineta
    A lovely hotel set in a peaceful location under the pine trees on the edge of the hilltop town of Erice. Its location makes it easier to reach by car than any of the other hotels in the center of the medieval town, where the streets are largely impassible. The rooms are a series of very private bungalows separated by stairs. The restaurant served typical Sicilian cuisine using very fresh ingredients....More
