Overall, an "oasis" on the Coasta Durate....went there with my partner of 30 years for an anniversary celebration(from the USA). Hotel has all the amenities and location is AAA+ when it comes to wanting to hear the sounds of waves crashing at your doorstep. The atmosphere, for us, was a bit artificial(like the smell of gardinia which seems to be piped thru the ventilation system as a wake-up "scent").Hotel has a George Orwellean feel from the get-go, but it is mean to provide upmost peace and privacy. The beach area is atually not in El Vendrell, but San Salvador which can be a bit dicey, however, some of the best food can be found in those small little cantinas(including the food I had 2-3 days before hand in Barcelona)... Overall, would recommend with the caveats mentioned above...More
