    Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo
This is a nice hotel if you are not loking for things to do and just want to lay around a pool and spend a lof of money on very expensive food. I went with a friend and we are both in our late twenties. We spent a lot on this hotel thinking we would live it up in Sardinia. We were told this was the place to be on the sea and in Italy. The hotel was very expensive, there were some families there and older couples (in their 50's and so on). It wasn't a bad place, just wasn't for us....More

Melia Olbia Resort & Convention Center
This hotel is really for relaxing, beautiful and clean and the beach is nice if that is what your looking for. We were a long ways from the Olbia port, (costing us 35-40 euro)to get to the hotel. Leaving the hotel they dropped us off at the wrong "only one boat port" then we had to pay again to get to the right place just barely making it (costing us a total of 75 euro). When we called the hotel and ask for the driver to come and take us to the correct port they said "call a cab". The only tour that they offered we were told was english speaking and turned out not to be it was completly done in Italian, and was mostly spending hours at the beach with only one small city shopping stop. The lunch included was a small bowl of pasta period, you buy your own drink and anything else. The buffet in the evening was very expensive for what it was and it was not posted anywhere. Not much choice for food close by if you don't have a car/transportation....More

    Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo
This hotel was a find! Although the room was a bit small, it didn't matter-if you go, request a Superior room-it's in the newer section, and the breakfast hours are extended an hour, and it is served in their on-property restaurant, Orange. We loved it there-the pool is awesome, the location is great. We walked every day, and there are restaurants within walking distance. It's extremely close to the Porto Cervo Marina. I cannot wait to book again for next year!...More
