For those who come with a car and want to park inside the gate, you had to go to a speaker, then someone would walk out to open the gate. Sometimes it took a long time. We needed to contact home by telephone. We were told they could not help us. There were no pay phones in town. When we came back, we were told we could use the pay phone in the hallway, then they could not find our country code and called the police department who were not happy about the call. We stayed there for the first three nights of our trip and the last one. In the first room, the hair dryer didn't work, there was mold arund the base of the shower and the there was a party outside our room that went on for hours. Do not take the first room to the right of the lobby named Margarita. The last night's room was everything the first room was not and we were very pleased. The room downstairs is relaxing, the breakfast food was substantial and appetizing although not elegant as some of our other stays. This B&B would have been a better fit for us had we stayed there for a week and is a good choice for families. For really good gelato, go to the cafeteria downtown and for local dinner flavor, the off the road La Lantera is a good choice. The hotel can order delivery from a local pizzaria....More
