Las Olas Beach Resort
The hotel although beachfront and well priced (Aug.) felt short of my expectations. First of all upon our arrival, we unpacked and started to shower when I realized that the water was not draining well and there were mosquitos in the room. We called and we were relocated to another room 2 doors down. That room had no mosquitos, but the shower drainage was worse. Anyway we decided to rough it out since we were not about to repack again. The towels they provided were once white, but now a greyish beige with some even having orange stains. That for me was the biggest turn-off. They provide water, but it's not complimentary. They claimed there was a sign, but I did not see one in either rooms. Additionally, the beach is beautiful to look at if you overlook all the driftwood that was washed ashore,but not safe to swim in....More

The room I stayed in was very roomy with an upstairs/downstairs with a spiral staircase and a balcony on each level. There is also an additional bedroom and bath on the lower level if you are not able to get up the stairs. The view was amazing and over all the room well exceeded my expectations!! The only downside was that the hotel is quite isolated but if you are looking for a nice, quiet get-a-way with privacy and no crowds for total relaxation and like a lot of room to move around in the room, this hotel if perfect!!...More
