Royal Decameron Costa Flamingos All Inclusive
The stay at the resort was very nice. The room was cleaned very well everyday but the bathroom could use an overhaul.
It is very far from downtown but there is enough to do at the resort that you do not need to go anywhere else. The food was good but not excellent.
The staff was excellent and would cater to any of your needs.
I would recommend going to the resort just based on the excellent price of the resort....More

All Inclusive Samba Vallarta
We really enjoyed our stay, The beach has small pebbles so not good for running barefoot. Higher up the sand was soft and nicer but you can not run in soft sand either. The environment and grounds and pool etc. were great. The food was more like cafeteria style. (Lots to choose from but not great.) The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean. Weather was beautiful. Who can complain?...More

Villa Del Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort and Spa
We didn't want the Hustle and Bustle of Downtown! We like our Resort in relation/access to the old Mexican town feel; i.e. Ixtapa (resorts/safe) vs. Zihuatanejo (Old town feel).
The Resort (Villa Del Palmar Flamingos) was Great for Us! 1 Large Heated pool divided into 3 parts, beach front Restaurants (1 indoor/outdoor breakfast/dinner, other outdoor pizza bar/Italian). It is not really set-up to be kid oriented, but there is access to normal Mexican resort activities on property and on the beach.
Best for Us was the 1 Bedroom Suite. Pictures on Website insinuate comfort, but they don't get the real value of the room. All floors are Marble tile.
Spacious Living area: Kitchen area with 7X10 kitchen with all necessary Utensils, washer/dryer (which we did not use), full bath with Shower only, 2 chairs at Kitchen Bar, 6 chairs at large dining table, Full size couch, comfortable lounge chair, ottoman and good size coffee table...plus King Size Murphy Bed, TV/Armoir and wall to wall windows with Sliding glass and screen doors. WOW!
Now the bedroom: King Size Bed (just a little to firm for us, but we got used to it after 2 days), lots of dresser drawer space, Wall to Wall Windows with Sliding Glass and screen Doors and open into large bathroom area. First, an Awesome Jacuzzi for 2, long bathroom counter with 2 sinks and Cushion ottoman, seperate spacious shower (2 fit fine) and private toilet, both behind frosted glass. Nice closet with Security safe.
Finally....MORE Space....the balcony reached from the one side of the bedroom to the other side of the Living area. Much more than we expected and deep too. Table with 4 chairs outside (not plastic) and 2 nice/comfortable thick cushion loungers.
We did go on the Time Share meeting (not for us) and got to see the other offerings. Deluxe suite is like a nice regular room with a little extra space for Kitchen area, balcony OK to but width of room. This room attaches to our 1 bedroom to make 2 bedroom suite (...More
