    Arenal Springs Resort
    The Staff from check in and welcome drink to the minute we departed two days later were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great view of the volcano (not the lava flow) from the rooms, patios and the restauant. The restauant offered a varied selection and I recommend the Tuna. It was huge and worth every penny. Cooked perfect both times it was ordered by our table. Rodrigo was friendly and witty, making our dinning experience delightful. The hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the view of the lava flow, down a very poor potholed road....More

    Lomas del Volcan
    The bungalow we stayed in was perfect. From our back porch we had a direct and amazing view of the Volcano. The shower was amazing, the beds were comfortable. We could here Howler monkeys in the distance. The one sad part was we didn't have hot water our last night, nor early the next morning, and it was when reception was closed so we had no one to talk to. But that was the only bad part. Otherwise, for us the location was great, and super quick to get to the city center since we had a car. We took a cab once from the city center and it was cheap....More
