L'Imperial Palace
The hotel is beautifully situated on Lac Annecy. It is a bit of a walk to the old town (10-15 minutes) but all in a lovely park setting along the lake. Meals on the veranda were very pleasant, although the breakfast at 25 euros each was quite expensive. The casino is small and only has slot machines. It was a disappointment. The service staff was very pleasant. The only drawback was that I needed an extension cord and they didn't have one. I had to drive across town for one....More

The hotel needs much improvement. The walls in room were dirty, too expensive for what it is. It's rated as a 3star but it barely makes 2.We did not stay for 2nd night that was paid....More

Best Western Hotel Carlton
The hotel staff was great as was the location. It was near both the train station and the old town. I was disappointed that the rooms were not recently renovated. The furniture was tired looking. The ad on line indicated it was recently refurbished, so this was disappointing. I basically had a good stay because of the staff and location, but would have preferred a hotel that was a little more up to date. It was clean....More
