We stayed in 6 hotels in Europe this week and this one was by far our favorite! The breakfast was great and we thoroughly appreciated coming back to free coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, etc. with cookies after a long day of sightseeing. Just one note - Alvsjö station is in the commuter train network and is not accessible through the various metro stations throughout the city. Other than that, it was very close to the station, quiet and had a reasonable grocery store nearby. We also found a great pizza place up the road. We slept in a quick sleep room - two beds, no window. But, it had a flat screen TV (a great English movie was on!) and the bathrooms were by far the most spacious we'd used in Europe! The hotel lobby was very cozy and at night we'd sit and read a book next to the fireplace. I'd definitely recommend this place - epecially considering it was also our most reasonable hotel!...More
