Elba Almeria Hotel
The Elba Almeria is comfortable, clean and has good service. The room had double beds, a large TV, a fridge (which didn't seem very cold), and a lovely bathtub/shower. The AC didn't work very well, however, and there were times when I sat in the room sweating, even with it on. The hotel is far from the center of town, which means you have to walk (more than 30 min) or take a bus (convenient, .95 euros) downtown. This is difficult at night, as it is hard to find a taxi to return. Across the street from the hotel is a large mall with a grocery store and shops. The restaurant at the hotel is expensive for lunch and dinner, but has a 6 euro buffet breakfast (cheeses, yogurt, tortilla espanola, bread, croissants, ham, fruit, coffee, fresh orange juice) that is delicious and a steal! Many rooms seemed to come with the breakfast included......More
