    Fullon Hotel Jhongli
Room was nice enough—pretty well kept. It was a little smaller than anticipated but fine for just me. I know using the trash can for toilet paper is common in Taiwan, but for the price and condition of the hotel I expected to be able to flush the toilet paper. I wasn’t thrilled about that at all. Everything else was clean enough. The surrounding neighborhood left a little to be desired—seemed a bit sketchy. The staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. The price of the hotel included the breakfast buffet, which wasn’t advertised on the website anywhere and was a nice surprise. Breakfast was pretty good—nice blend of generic western and Asian cuisine. Overall good experience and not too bad for the price, although I would probably rather stay in some of the other hotels the chain has to offer, as there are several in the area....More

    Seasons Hotel Royal
This hotel had a beautiful bath tub with lights and a massage. Also, it had a glass shower. The room was very comfortable. They have free internet in the room for two computers. Wireless and with a wire. The people that work there treat you very nicely and the hotel is very clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to spend a small amount of money a night and someone that wants to stay at a five star hotel. The only downside is the location because it is 15 mins from the taipei 101 and computex hall 1 and 3. Also it is about 25 mins away from the trade world center....More

    Hotel One Taichung
Not knowing what to expect, I booked this hotel based on its distance to where friends were staying. It far exceeded our expectations. The front desk and bellhops were always eager to serve, even going so far as to find a store that sold the item we were looking for and calling ahead to get information for us. The room was extremely comfortable, had a great view, and all the amenities we could have asked for, including free internet (plug-in and wireless), a printer (!), and a flat screen tv. The room service options could have been a little better, but it just motivated us to eat in one of the many restaurants in the area or in the hotel. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Taichung!...More
