    Mercure Torun Helios
    I previously stayed here and was not impressed. But recently I've revisited Torun several times and I found myself staying in the Helios again. The place is still impersonal but the staff became more friendly as they recognized me. The summer deal with breakfast included was amazingly good value. Some tips for making the most of this hotel: bring a network cable, since there is free wired Internet but not wireless. Also, learn to visit the many nice pubs in the old town, which is not far away, avoid the bar in the hotel....More

    Sheraton Krakow Hotel
    We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, ending May 4. It's a beautiful hotel and makes quite an impression when entering. Registration was easy and very pleasant. Very helpful front desk. The concierge was helpful if you wanted to book excursions with her, but didn't offer much if you wanted to do things on your own. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The bellman neglected to tell us that you needed to insert your room key card into a slot to get electricity or tell us you also needed to use your key card for the elevator. But that just makes for a more interesting trip. The only real complaint was that housekeeping didn't change our glasses for 3 days even when we asked that they be changed.     Hotel Copernicus
    Beautiful hotel. Outstanding location. Rooftop terrace is a hidden gem. We stayed two nights at Hotel Copernicus, then took an overnight trip to Zakopane and returned to Copernicus for two more nights. The lady at the desk anticipated our every need the entire time we were there. They stored our luggage overnight when we went to Zakopane for the night. When we were asking whether they could do this for us, she finished our sentence for us, and said, "Of course." The breakfast is very nice and the wait staff were friendly and responsive. Finally, when I explained that I needed a rental car to visit family 80 km outside of Krakow, they arranged everything for me with the car rental agency, and the car was delivered to the hotel the next morning. When we return to Krakow, we will stay at Hotel Copernicus....More
