Riande Continental Hotel & Casino
This hotel is in a great location. I stayed here for some business meetings I had in Downtown Panama. It was easy to get a taxi and fairly cheap about $4-10 each way for my meetings. The room was clean and everything worked fine, the time was off on the alarm clock but I use my phone for an alarm clock while on the road. Only thing wrong was the elevators are a pain sometimes, I used the service elevators most of the time and never had a problem like I did with the glass panoramic elevator. One thing I would say is not to use the hotels tour service. IT IS A RIP OFF! I wanted to take a quick trip to the Miraflores locks at the panama canal and they wanted $45, its probably a 15 dollar cab ride over and then you can catch a cab with many of the cabs out in front of the Visitor Center at the Panama Canal. If you are intrested in visiting the Canal just ask for a cab and ask to be taken to the Miraflores Locks visitor center, dont ask for the tour....More

A reasonably comfortable place to stay upon late arrival in, and/or early departure from Panama. Convenient shuttle to and from the airport. I will consider this hotel whenever I next travel to Panama....More
