Riande Aeropuerto Hotel & Resort
I arrived @09:00, they happily checked me in (nice convenience). Package included voucher for breakfast the next morning. Since I would be off to the airport before B-fast, they would not give me the voucher to use right then. (not manditory, but would have been a reasonable, neighborly touch) No clock in room, so wakeup call requested and reminder written out by desk clerk. Call NOT made, I didn't wake up in time to make my flight, lame apology made by a.m. desk clerk, $963 one-way ticket had to be purchased to get back home. Very inconvenient and stressful as I didn't know if I would be stranded in Panama. I am trying to get the hotel to reimburse me my expenses, but I doubt they will do it without a fight....More

Riande Continental Hotel & Casino
We stay at the Riande Continental and Casino every time we are in Panama. We like the location, the rooms, and the breakfast. The staff was very helpful due to a suitcase with husbands meds missing the plane, and having to be delivered at about midnight. The head Bell Captain knows us as we have used this hotel for almost 5 years. This was the first time I used Hotels.com for the reservation and it went more smoothly then past reservations made on the Hotels web site. Thanks...More

Country Inn & Suites Panama Canal
The ONLY reason to stay at this Hotel is to view the Canal and the ships going through. HOWEVER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Just because the Hotel is at the canal does not mean you can see it. Approx half of the rooms face the parking lot. Even if you get a balcony make sure it faces the water. Finally even if it faces the water make sure the view is not blocked by the roof of TGI Friday's restaurant. Do not get a suite that says it has a Jacuzzi as what they did was eliminate the livingroom portion and replace it with a big tub with no hot water and no drain plug. We changed rooms (allegedly a suite) 4 times in 4 days...More
