    The Westin Rotterdam
Nice hotel very close to the train station. No noise from the railway either. With a few steps you'll be in the middle of the shopping district where you can find good restaurants, bars, clubs etc. Mini bar a little bit too expensive and a pool in the hotel would be nice as well since you're staying at a 5 star hotel....More

    Park Hotel Amsterdam
The hotel was very nice. It's right next to the Van Gogh Museun, Diamond Museum, Heineken Museum and Holland Casino. It's also adjacent to the trendy and upscale shopping street "Hoofdstraat". However, it is far from the Red Light District and Union Station area. So, depending on what you plan to do in Amsterdam, it's either a great, of far away location. Everything in Europe is small, so if there's at least two people staying in the room, I'd recommend that option. Also, a previous poster mentione dthat there were no hairdryers. That's not true. If you need a hairdryer or outlet adapter all you have to do is ask. They will bring one right up....More

Everything was in good condition. I had good experience at this hotel. A slight surprise was that the tax was not included and had to be paid separately at checkout, but it wasn't much. The location is very good, half a block from the square with all the action and lots of people in the pubs. And, yet, my room was not noisy (it faced to the side street)....More
