    Hotel Juliani
I would recommend the Hotel Juliana for travelers looking for a great location, boutique hotel experience, and good value for the money. The rooms are small, but they are comparable to any other boutique hotel. It's perfectly sufficient for two people. Everything feels very new and modern, the bathroom was very nice, front desk staff was very helpful. The roof deck pool is small and very quiet. I'm not sure it would be a great spot for families with small children, but it's great for a late afternoon swim. The few times we used it, the sun loungers were filled with adults reading. The location really can't be beat. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and a wide range of restaurants within walking distance. Paceville, where there is quite a bit of nightlife, is also within walking distance, as is Sliema, which is much quieter. I didn't visit the Hotel restaurants - there's a cafe on the first floor/lobby area and a Thai restaurant on the second floor. But saw that they both have been given good reviews. The only complaint I have is that your room key is required to use the electricity in your room, which includes the air conditioning. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but I was there in August and it was blistering hot outside. It would have been nice to have the air conditioning on for when we returned to the room....More

    Porto Azzurro Aparthotel
I was greeted by a very friendly staff member, Bjorn who helped me become familiar with everything I was confused with. The hotel is in great shape, the pool is nice and it was a great deal as well. I will certainly be back. Thanks again Bjorn!!...More

St. George's Park & La Vallette Resort
I knew from other reviews and information about the St. Julians area that I should expect a clubbing atmosphere and a lesser quality hotel. St. Georges Park was obviously a great place to stay a few decades ago but it has not been maintained. Overall it's not a bad place really, as long as you are okay with everything being run-down. We had a relatively large top floor 2 person room with a great balcony. The one true fault of this hotel is the management. They misdirected phone calls to our room several times, not to mention the generally bad attitude. Their attitude is quite representative of most of Maltese custumer service businesses so they can't be blamed too much. In conclusion I would say this place is more for the type of person who is on a tight budget but maybe doesn't want to go the hostel route....More
