    Hotel Los Arcos
Opportunities for Improvement: 1. Our reservation had been for a cabana style room; we were given a room that overlooked the ocean (seemingly good) but also overlooked a very very loud and busy main thoroughfare (really really bad). Accordingly, we did not sleep well, if at all, the two nights we stayed. 2. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, lacking a mattress pad and a fitted sheet. Accordingly, the flat sheet used in lieu of the fitted sheet bunched up and caused aches. 3. The bathroom wall tile had a lot of evidence of grim; a glass by the sink was obviously dirty. 4. There is no reduced cost transportation between the airport and the hotel; although the desk team did inform us of the rate to the airport for the taxi, there was no way to arrange reservations. Positives: 1. Housekeeping is very nice; the room housekeeper even ran my sunglasses to me when we were checking out as I had left them in the room. 2. Concierge was very nice; a way to improve this would be to have a list and a map showing different restaurants. It was not apparent that the Concierge was focused on visitors' needs as we had a hard time getting input on specific restaurants and other sights to see. 3. Location is fantastic - we walked everywhere. Hotel is at south end of historic district. 4. The bar staff was wonderful. Food, not so good (don't eat there but enjoy the drinks and peanuts). Great tequila options at the bar....More

    Fiesta Inn Tijuana
Customer service was great, the only problem my family and I had was with the condition of the room; the ceramic tiles in the bathroom were worn-out as well as the floor carpet in the room. I felt the price I paid for the room was too much, I had better hotel rooms for that price in the United States....More
