    Le Meridien Beach Plaza
    For the cost of the hotel, the only value is in the access to the beach and the breakfast was nice...though they needed to clear it 15 minutes before they said it was over. Service very average. Taxis a problem....More

    Fairmont Monte Carlo
    I found the hotel very nice, well-kept and clean, though a bit dated (kind of feels like a cruise ship from the 70's). The staff were WONDERFUL. My issue was with the room service - the cost of food was outrageous, which of course comes with the reigon so that was not surprising, but my tasteless sandwich arrived burnt and the rest of the food was far from good. Other than the room service food, I have no complaints - it was indeed nice - but I wouldn't mind trying out a different hotel in Monte Carlo next time. If you go, just be sure to go up to the rooftop for breakfast, it's delightful!...More
