This was my first trip to Ireland, so I booked this hotel based on my own research. LOCATION: I give the location of this hotel 5 out of 5 stars. The only time my fiance and I had to take a cab was to get to Heuston Train Station (and if we hadn't had our luggage with us, we probably would've walked there, too). We were EASILY able to walk EVERYWHERE from this hotel, AND it was in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It is also just one block from where the airport bus drops off. CLEANLINESS: I am VERY finicky when it comes to hotel rooms, so I'd give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars. For what we were paying, I thought it could've been a bit nicer, however, that might just be because I didn't realize Dublin is so expensive. STAFF/HOSPITALITY: The hotel staff was super nice and very helpful. They made us reservations for a day tour and helped us plan our trip/itinerary to Kilkenny. I would give the staff a 4.5 out of 5 stars. In conclusion, I give this hotel a 4 out of 5 and would stay there again....More

    Ardmore Hotel
Hotel was very nice and spacious considering most reviews you read tell about how small the rooms are. The price is apporpriate for the hotel and its ammenities. The bathroom was plenty big enough and the shower worked great. The only draw back is the location to the city center and attractions. We had a rental car, but I think it would be easier to use city buses if you are leaving the hotel for the city center. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel...More
