Hotel El Puerto
Honestly, I had low expectations considering the reviews but El Puerto was one of the only hotels open during winter season (12/07). Also stayed at a more upscale hotel and El Puerto won me over for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the reservation desk. I would have preferred a full/queen sized bed vs 2 twins pushed together but it worked. The place was clean and so conveniently located to everything that we had no complaints at all. The breakfast was so-so but that too sufficed. We stayed 2 separate times and the 2nd time they upgraded us to an apartment which made our first time trip to Ibiza all the better. We plan to return in the summer for the height of the season and would have no problem at all to stay at El Puerto again. Gracias!!...More

Best Western Arosa
My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Hotel Arosa in June 2007. We were extremely satisfied with the location, close from everything: in fact, we didn't even use the Madrid Metro (many different stations around), it's easy to walk everywhere from Grand Via. We were very happy with the room; we had an upper floor room with balcony, as we asked. It is renovated, clean, and the bathroom, although not very big, is nice. We were not at all disturbed by the noise from Grand Via, as the room was having a second set of new French doors that were very effectively blocking outside noise. There is a safe in the room, it works with your credit card to lock (no charge though). Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel, we believe we got more than we paid for. We will definitely stay there again if back in Madrid. P.S. Yes, there is a very small elevator, but there is another one of more regular size too, and they work great, so why complain ?...More

Eurostars Madrid Tower
Amazing Luxury Hotel, great value for money: big room, incredible bathroom, skyline sights, amenities...
I totally recommend this hotel, a little bit away from center of Madrid but incredibly cheap to be a 5 star hotel. Cabs to centre are 10€, absolutely worthy....More
