    Venus Beach Hotel
For the money it was an average hotel. The air conditioning did not work. The view was beautiful and the sea breeze helped keep the room cool. Some of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. But, also some of the front desk staff were unfriendly at times. Azia Blue at the Azia Resort & Spa
Arrived 1 day late at 3am after problems with flight connections. Was greated warmly and staff checked me in immediately. This hotel seems geared to adults so not so sure if I would recommend for a family stay...More

The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are adequate for a hotel touting itself as a resort. But, through my limited travels outside of the US, I find a 4 star rating to be a bit much. And again, I have found what would be considered a 3 star in the states to be sold as a 4 or 5 star in other European locations. For Cyprus, 4 stars maybe appropriate, can't find many nicer places on the island but you could definetly do worse....More
