The Promenade Palladium is easily the best find in Rio. It is located in the upscale Leblon neighborhood right near the famous Ipanema Beach. The Promenade Palladium is a very modern hotel with large, well-equipped well air-conditioned rooms containing both refrigerators and microwave ovens. It even has an iPod dock for your own music. The rooms are both very clean and quiet. In fact they are nicer than the rooms at the most upscale hotel in Ipanema at only 1/3 the price. The stay includes an outstanding full breakfast equal to that of the luxury hotel and served in a very charming setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hibiscus Beach Pousada
An almost magical experience! We had originally booked for two nights, and loved the hotel and Buzios so much that we have extended our stay. Guests have a cozy cottage all to themselves, and our room is very comfortable, beautifully clean, and has everything we need. The highest rooms have the best sea views, and we were lucky to be given number 9, right at the top. The staff are really friendly and most speak English. The service is great, and we would like to recommend this hotel. Buzios in June is quiet, with plenty of room on the beaches and in restaurants and bars. During our stay, the peninsula has been bathed in sunlight....yes, a magical experience !...More
