Ocean Reef Yacht Club & Resort
THe hotel staff is typical Caribbeean "we really dont care" about you once you get here. I noticed they try and charge you a "service charge for everything, however the service is almost non-existant. The power at the hotel was atrocious! The power would go out 3 to 4 times a day, for hours at a time. You sometimes cannot even get in and out of the gate since there is no power. The front desk staff were slow, not personable, and their communications with each other regarding guest needs were terrible. I definately suggest stayog clear of the Ocean Reef. I visited many other places around and they are a better deal with much more attentive staff....More

Hotel itself is not bad apart that is not suitable to wekaer people, eldrely, sick or small women as it does not have a lift and you end up caryying the bags up three floors yourself. The first room we got was dirty, nobody helped us with the bags and we never got the wake up call in the morning. The second room was better but floor was still full of bits and the cupboar in bathroom was dirty. Other than people not doing their job the hotel is nice, newly painted and great location close to the airport and downtown, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than one night....More

    Island Seas Resort
We checked in with our hotel in the morning and then went back in the evening to get our friend's other room and the night person (the morning crew told us all we had to do was show up and pick up the key for the 2nd room) would NOT give us the key. He had us on his computer, the funds had been taken from our account already, and we had to have him call up hotels.com customer service and confirm the reservation even though we had already done so in the morning. It took us an hour, and at 1 in the morning, that was the last thing we wanted to do after a fun day of sun and sand. Otherwise the place was fine, but he was rude and very very uncooperative....More
