This past weekend my husband and I stayed at 4 Beaches Bed and Breakfast. I had never been to a bed and breakfast before so this was all new. My stay at 4 Beaches made me feel as if I had been missing out all this time! The peaceful, somewhat isolated location coupled with the ocean front views make it easy to spend the day on the deck. At night, if it is clear, it is easy to see the Milky Way! During the day time, this place is a wildlife haven. We only saw deer and various birds, including a few eagles. However, the this area is known for bears, seal, and whales. As for our gracious host, Alison and Pat, they were great. Alison had a prior commitment and could not be there when I arrived, however she left a welcome card and note for us. Our room was equipped with a lovely bottle of wine. The breakfast was AMAZING! Eggs, waffles, thick bacon, all with a chef's elegance. There is a jacuzzi, huge yard, and 2 patio sets. We also brought our dog with us which was just fine ($25 pet deposit). Our dog had a playmate, Shiloh, a lovely golden lab. Everything was great! If we ever make a trip back we will be sure to stay at the 4 Beaches Bed and Breakfast again.

The bedrooms are spacious and private with very comfortable beds and all the amenities you could want. The common areas are great and the atmosphere maintained by your hosts is fun and comfortable. TV, guitar, piano, hot tub, books, deep chairs and plush couches, views of the Juan de Fuca straight and the Olympic mountains ensure that there is something for everyone in which to occupy their time. The key to the comfort though is how the hosts welcome you and maintain that welcome feeling during your entire stay. Pat and Alison are natural hosts. And the food!! A chef prepared breakfast just can't be beat. Be sure to stay multiple days because Pat changes the menu every day and every day is a treat.

We have stayed in many B and B's throughout the world and I think this one is my favorite. The reason lies mostly because of Pat and Alison our hosts. Pat is a renown chef who served for many years as the Executive Chef at the Prince of Wales hotel. His breakfasts are amazing! In addition they each have a wonderful way of making you feel right at home. They are engaging without being intrusive. The accommodations were wonderful and our room looked out at the bay and the Olympics. The common rooms which we used often are spacious and inviting, Coffee and tea were always available and the afternoon cookies were extremely tasty. I would stay here again without hesitation and I hope you do too!
"Great Place to Stay in Sooke"

Pat and Alison are wonderful hosts. They make you feel very comfortable and make every effort to ensure that you have everything you need. The property is about 5 min out of town and is lovely, with beautiful views of the Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains. Deer regularly graze on the front lawn, and a hot tub awaits on the deck. Breakfast is wonderful, prepared by Pat, a professional chef. They willingly accommodate special dietary requirements. Our room was very clean, roomy, very nicely appointed with private bath. A welcome note and bottle of wine awaited us. They gladly provided lots of tips for places and restaurants to visit in the area. Shiloh, their retriever/ border collie mix will instantly win over even the hesitant dog lovers.a I would certainly recommend 4 Beaches B and B.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, 4 beaches b&b exceeded our expectations. Pat and Alison were accommodating, generous, gracious, helpful hosts and made us feel very welcome. We were very appreciative of all of the little details, fresh flowers in our room, a bottle of wine, refreshments out when we arrived and blown away by the views of the ocean and Olympic mountains from the perched up property. We had our 7-month old with us who loved crawling on the front lawn and also loved their dog, Shiloh. We enjoyed our stay very much and only regret not staying longer.

I really needed a night away where I could relax and enjoy. We found 4 Beaches B&B online and I noticed the hot tub in the photos. I called right away. Everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms are set-up in a perfect arrangement. None of them share walls - perfectly private. The beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is on the back porch is surrounded by a hill and trees - no neighbours can see you soaking. The finishing touches are wonderful: brochures desk to help you plan your stay, all-day beverage station with home-made baked treats, fine toiletries in the bathroom, a bottle of wine in your room to enjoy. Breakfast was a tasty gourmet treat! Pat, an award-winning chef, put together a morning meal that you won't find anywhere else! Well Done Alison and Pat! It was a pleasure to stay at your lovely home! Lori Burnaby, BC

We had the pleasure of staying at the 4 Beaches B&B for 1 night and it was wonderful! Our room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host's Pat and Alison were very lovely and made us feel very relaxed. The breakfast was amazing in the morning, with a fantastic ocean view, we were very impressed. We were really close to a provincial park where we went hiking, and then relaxed in their hot tub in the evening. We can't wait to go back!
