The hotel was recently renovated, and the room and bathroom were fresh and clean. (The room was quite small, but we did not spend much time there.) Hotel personnel were extremely pleasant and helpful. Located near a metro station and within easy walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. Le Marais is a wonderful neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for the price"
It was the most reasonably priced hotel in the area I needed to be in. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were very nice except the bath had only a hand shower, so showering was a little inconvenient. The hotel is reasonably close to several metro stations and is right by a street with plenty of cafés and grocery stores.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrible customer service"
We arrived to a room that had leaking taps and the air conditioning leaked all over our floor, the original reception host was very helpful and we changed to a room with less issues. However we spent 6 days at this hotel and most of those days we had to deal with a reception hostess that was rude and she did not understand English. I'm disappointed […] that I couldn't offer a positive review which was mostly to do with the lady at reception making communication very difficult. Hotel could be better improved with a better hostess.
"Perfekt beliggenhed i hyggeligt område"
Super godt hotel I meget flot stand. Ikke en finger at sætte på standarden. Og for Paris for man rigtig meget for pengene her. Beliggenhed er perfekt med masser af hyggelige spisesteder og barer i nærheden. Tæt på metro, så man kommer nemt rundt i byen. Kan klart anbefales og et sted vi vil bo en anden gang.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A charming small hotel"
09/02/14 Marjorie C Hudson, FL
This small hotel is in the fashionable Marais district. It was recently renovated and on a quiet street in the 3rd Arrondissment. There is a Metro stop close by so it is very easy to get around. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had taken a gypsy can from the train station and the driver was trying to rip us off, but the young lady at the hotel helped us out! Our room was small, but comfortably furnished with a modern tub and shower; it was attractive and in a good area for eating out. I highly recommend the Hotel St Onge.
"Excellent wheelchair accessible room, super helpful staff, great location"
08/31/14 Keith J Oxfordshire, United Kingdom
We had four lovely days staying at the Hotel Saint Louis Saintonge. Finding suitable accommodation for a permanent wheelchair user is always difficult but the accessible room here had been thoughtfully set out, especially the bathroom. The level access shower has both overhead and hand held sprays, and a wall mounted shower seat (not suitable for a high level spinal injury like myself but the shower was ideal for using my own shower chair) and has good water pressure, not the pathetic trickle you often get. All the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, especially Melina and Ozge on the front desk, who also helped with organising accessible taxis for us. We regularly visit Paris but shall never stay anywhere else, having discovered our ideal hotel in such a great location.
"Cozy and stylish hotel in great neighborhood"
07/12/14 Jooday Oslo
Great little hotel tucked away in a great neighborhood filled with restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Our room was small, but that is not a surprise for a hotel in Paris. The entire hotel looked like it was newly renovated, and the interior was excellent, a combination of rustic and Paris chic. The room we stayed in was small but had everything we needed. You will need to be a bit creative when it comes to moving around if you have many suitcases to place around the room. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of baguettes, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt, juices coffee, etc. I felt that it was worth the €13 we paid for. The hotel provides free wifi, but the signal was a bit tricky at times. No worries. We were there to experience Paris, not surf the web. The wifi was good enough for us to say hello to friends and family. We also had with us our little Jack Russell terrier, and the hotel welcomed her with open arms. Our dog also enjoyed her stay, there. :) I would definitely stay there again!
"Excellent location but really small"
07/01/14 janyu Singapore, Singapore
The hotel was located in the very nice Marias area and within walking distance to metro station Republique which is an intersection of several lines. It was very convenient to walk everywhere. There are also many good restaurants around the area. Downside was that the room was very small and the toilet smaller even by asian standard! Only one person can be at the sink/shower and you can only rotate on the spot literally. Also, wifi didn't really work in our room and only works along the corridor outside. Overall it is nicely decorated and location is really good so it's good if you are hardly in the room since it is cramped.
"Small but Nice"
06/08/14 Cassady H Tampa, Florida
The rooms in this hotel are quite small, even by European standards. You will also definitely hear your neighbors. That said, it was a nice stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Location is decent as is price. I'd consider staying here again if I was in the area, but I would also shop around before making a final decision.

"older reviews no longer applicable"

reading the older reviews i do not think this is the same hotel or the refurbishment was incredible. I found a great hotel with great friendly staff (lovely receptionist and efficient night porter, and even the two cleaning staff i talked ot were warm and friendly) - room was immaculately bed was good and firm asi like them and wifi reception worked well for me for the four days i was there. yes its small but thats Paris for you but it was almost perfect - the only hassle i had was the first time i used the shower as the bathroom in the room i had is small and its hard for a larger size person to squeeze past the shower door but i worked out a trick to help me and it was fine after that
"A little charmer"
03/05/14 Henwood Herefordshire
Located in a narrow side-street off the Rue de Bretagne, this immaculately restored but long-established hotel is worthy of consideration for a visitor to this city. My single room (€129.00)on the 5th floor had been thoughtfully and cleverly furnished, in contemporary style, with rustic tiled floors complimenting the beamed ceiling; it offers separate W.C, shower room and illuminated hanging cupboard, which also contained safe, mini-bar and adequate storage. The linen is crisp, the blankets soft, the bed is perhaps a little firm, there is a TV with satellite on the wall above a small built-in desk, and the Wi-Fi system is excellent. The reception is good, helpful and informative. The breakfast is unremarkable, probably not worth the extra €13, and anyway the cellar breakfast room is way too small, but one is within range of some excellent bars and restaurants, so a better choice might be found elsewhere. Let alone some very fine shops which would appeal to many with some disposable income! They offer a range of rooms both in size and appointment, it is all to a very high standard, and I would stay there again.
"a little jewel completely renewed"
02/02/14 Annalisa L
I was in Hotel with 3 friends for 3 nights. The hotel is completely renewed and it's located in a great location (le Marais), close to almost important Places (Centre Pompidour, Notre Dame, Orsay Museum,..). The breakfast was good, rooms are small, but comfortable. The only small details I would improve are the showers: too short for a fully standing wash.
