"Close to Zurich HB and Nice Room"
The room was very appealing, I used the kitchen a few times and easily went to work via the nearby central station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not for business trips"
The room conditions were good and nice. No elevator so be prepared. Bad opening hours for the reception, opens at 9 am, so if you're on a business trips and need to check out early, you have to argue and solve the issue by yourself if you want to store your luggage at the hotel during the day before your flight back... Not service minded staff. But […] otherwise, pretty cute hotel. Looks better on the images than in reality though. However, general rate 3/5.
"Worst stay in our one month Europe trip."
01/27/15 ozgur-magnus Istanbul, Turkey
Me and my boyfriend have stayed in Casa Heinrich Apartments for 2 nights, on 13-15 january 2015. I would never stay here after the serious argument we had with the hotel manager just immediately after our arrival, if it wasn't late in the evening and it wouldn't be a burden to look for other places to stay. When i saw the apartment room that the receptionist gave us, i went back to the reception and complained about it; because it wasn't anything like in the descriptions; it was a very basic room which felt like not cleaned and prepared, and we had two single beds although i had booked a room with a double bed. I was told that i had to wait in the line of customers again, for her to deal with my complaint, although i was there before others a few minutes ago and it was her fault that we were given an unprepared room with the wrong type of bed. When i insisted on the problem being taken seriously, she called the manager. The manager told me that the descriptions of the rooms were written as a general description, and they don't reflect the specific rooms. I told him that they had to reflect, but he said that he can't bother with writing separate descriptions for each room! And he suddenly started to insult me saying that if i want something more, i should go somewhere else. When i told him i will rate this negatively on the internet sites, he told me that he would make my evaluations erased claiming that i was lying and that i don't have any proof or witness to prove otherwise! I replied with the same tone saying that he can't treat customers like this and he can't make the evalutions erased, he said "you can't tell me what i can't do; i can do anything i want". Basicly, for the first time in my life i was mocked, insulted, and threatened by a hotel manager. I honestly think this person has psychological problems, and he is a modern time bully. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody, since according to me how you are treated is the most important criteria when choosing a holiday accommodation. There are many accommodation choices in Zurich within this price range, which are at least as good as this one in terms of comfort and location, won't write fake or misleading descriptions, and will definitely treat their guests better.
"Home away from home"

The place is very comfy and restful..very near the train station and important landmarks. All things you need are within reach..we arrived early in this hotel at around 7:30am and the receptionist will only be in at 9am..we were lucky he was earlier so that we were just in time for our tour bus going to Mt. Titlis..
"Good for overnight stay"

Location and service good. Around 15min walk to the central train station. There are restaurants and convenience store nearby as well. The 3 of us booked a double room and requested for extra bed upon confirming the booking. However, they did not received our request as a result, the 3 of us had to sleep on a double bed (initially) in a double room without much walking space, else we have to book another single room which was not preferred. If we knew it earlier, we could have booked a bigger room. However, the lady at the front desk was helpful enough to squeeze in an extra bed in our room in the end (bigger rooms are fully booked). Thumbs up for her helpfulness! We had to enter a side gate in order to go to our room; it wasn't connected to the reception. Felt a bit uncomfortable as it was pretty cold and was drizzling that night. The room was clean with kitchenette although was very very small for 3 adults. There wasn't any elevator hence my friend had to drag her luggage up to 3rd floor. The bathroom has all that we need and the water pressure was fine to us, not exactly like what was mentioned in other reviews. Perhaps, they have improved. It is good for an overnight stay (only) and is considered good value for Zurich hotels.
"Great location for exploring from"
12/23/14 Jon H London, United Kingdom
Casa Heinrich is in a great location, seconds walk from the bars and cafes of Joseffstrasse, and a few minutes from the central train station and many of the key tourist sites. Zurich is not the cheapest city you'll ever visit, but Casa Heinrich is comparatively good value, clean, comfortable and a great base for the city and the surrounding area.
"Clean rooms, not far from the city centre/main station"
12/18/14 happyfemaletraveller Bengaluru (Bangalore), India
I stayed in a single room with an attached bathroom. Small room and bathroom, but clean. Attached kitchenette with a stove, refrigerator and microwave, basic utensils. The microwave did not work. The hairdryer in the bathroom did not work. No elevator in the hotel; so be prepared to haul your luggage up all the way to the third floor (or more). Free-wifi is included, which works fairly well. No food is provided, but there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff at the reception speaks English and German. Check in is at 1500 hours; if you arrive sooner, you will have to wait. There is a facility for early check out. Make sure you don't misplace your keys- there is a penalty. Easily accessible by tram. About a ten minute walk from the Zurich Main Station (Zurich Hauptbahnof). A taxi from the airport will cost you about 60-65 CHF.
"Clean and tasteful rooms, walking distance to city centre and train station - great value for money especially in Zurich"
The room was larger than we expected which was great. Toiletries and clean towels everyday and a well equipped kitchenette - especially useful when trying to save a bit of money! The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the main train station and bus station and about 15/30 minute walk into the city (depending which area you are goid to(. Overall very good value for money in a rather expensive City!

I do not expect from a guest house to be sumptuous but I do expect to be clean and that, definately, was not the case! It was the first time in my entire life that I have seen something like this. The rooms were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, there were hair even on the wall and the shower handle was broken. The toilette could be easily compared to a public one. Immediately I informed them that they have to go and clean again both rooms. Although apparently they did, dust and long hair were still around (wall and shower tube,) and they were also prohibiting water to go down the drain pipes so the shower could be also used as Jacuzzi! On the top of that, there was no heating!!!! When we complained they said that heating will be fixed in a couple of days (after our departure) and for this reason they have provided us with small fan heaters!!! I suppose that's why they charge the full amount of money for the reservation before arrival. Because if you have not already paid, definately you do not stay! The location is not a great one altough is suited us because the venue we would like to go was nearby but if you are tourist and you wish to be in the city center and in a good neighborhood then look somewhere else. Our two nights over there was just a bad experience. This guest house could have a potential if only was well maintained!
"Certainly the worst place in Zurich"
10/14/14 MARCIO D London, United Kingdom
I was so disappointed with this place as I’ve never been in my whole live (and I travel on average 8 to 10 times a year). It is dirty, neglected, and terrible. I complained twice to the reception (which only opens after lunchtime, by the way) and they said that they would fix it. After 4 days I left and it was still blocked. I also complained that under my bed a lot of dirty and even sweet’s wrap papers from previous guests were still there. Again they said that they would fix it in no time but, then again, nothing was done. The place is so bad that they take the money up front as they know if you cancel it after seeing the absurdity of the local. And it wasn’t even cheaper, I must say. Run away from that accommodation, the photos are misleading.
"Dirty, noisy, disgusting."
09/18/14 SantCugat2000 Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain
The reviews are too good. The place is really dirty and disgusting. Pubic hair on the bed sheets (visible). Hair in the bathroom and shower everywhere. Shower floor was sticky. Blood stain on the toilet. Thick layer of dust everywhere. I got to see 3 room, but all dirty so not much choice. The owner blames it on housekeeping since himself is too busy. Casa Rudolfo has lift, but A/C only works on top floors (you can ask them). There's wifi and 2 blocks from tram, but noisy shabby street and right above an Indian fast food with all the smell everywhere. The price is apparently good in Zurich scale. The owner was described by other to be very kind and at first seemed very nice. But soon got too friendly and then really really really creepy (not professional enough to cross the line). Ruined my time in Zurich. I warn you not to stay. I left one day earlier even though it was not refundable. It was a business trip so couldn't leave earlier than that. Also the street is really shabby. They brought towels every day, but didn't bother to have anything cleaned, so you never know how clean the towels actually are if you have dirt everywhere.
"A nice stay"

Clearly, the reviews about this property are quite divided. We have been travelling through Europe in a car for 4 months, so we needed something reasonably priced (in this horrendously expensive city) that hopefully would provide an ability for us to also park the car. What we got was a pretty nice room, including a mini kitchenette, which suited as fine, as we were never going to afford to go out for meals in Zurich. We were also told that for a payment of 15CHF we could park the car out front by putting an approved parking permit on the dash. Yes, the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the centre of town, but we were ok with that. We also didn't have any problem checking in due to arriving at weird hours (we arrived around 5pm), nor did we receive a cold reception, or any loud music at night. Maybe we got lucky, or maybe others got unlucky. It does seem strange that opinions are so divided. IMHO, the price is pretty good, so it might be worth giving it a try.
