"Good for overnight"
The room was tiny but had a bath "en suite." It was perfect for our one-night stay before an early train, with an easy walk to the Kings Cross Station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is all about convenience, and location. We fell in to the hotel from London Kings Cross station and used it as an excellent base for sight seeing etc. It is on a quiet street, next to a small park area. The hotel itself is small but clean with very friendly staff. I will use again if in the area as you don't get much for your money in Lo […] ndon. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Amazing customer service and the room was amazing to stay in, the staff were very helpful. They had a room were we could store our bags after booking out so we could do some more site seeing in London. We would definatively visit there again, good location not far from the station and not far from centre of London.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Well worth the money"
Clean, smart and friendly staff. Bathroom is tiny but workable, clean and modern. Worth the 60 GBP. a night that I paid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but great value"

God beliggenhet - 2 store t-banestasjoner i nærheten (Kings Cross & Euston) i tillegg til tog-stasjonen St. Pancras. […] Kommer til å bo her igjen. Got an extremely small room. Had to change hotel after two nights.
"Small, clean and perfectly located"

I stayed at the Angus by myself for one evening in July. I was traveling alone and wanted a place with a convenient location to King's Cross and the Eurostar station. The room was very small - which I certainly didn't mind because I was traveling solo, but it truly was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and that's saying something! The room was very clean and the staff was helpful and accommodating. There is no elevator and no air conditioning at this hotel - which is not unusual for the UK. The wifi was free and it was reliable. There is no restaurant at this hotel. My room was located in the basement level of the hotel and faced the front of the hotel. Since there was no air conditioning, I had to have my window open because it got quite warm in my room during the day. Because I faced the front of the hotel, I was concerned about my security with the window open - especially at night. There was an iron fence that kept passers-by from getting down to where my room was, but it certainly wasn't fool proof. In addition, there was a considerable amount of noise coming from the street level and with my window open, it sounded as though those people were in the room with me. I did notice that my room had a very musty smell (it may have been because I was on the bottom floor). I noticed it even more when I got to my next destination and unpacked my clothing and noticed that it all smelled rather musty and required a good airing out. I was set to return to this hotel for 3 more nights after a stay in Oxford. I did change my mind and cancelled my reservations in favor of a hotel with a similar location and pricepoint, but with a few more amenities. Had I been traveling with someone else, I probably wouldn't have been bothered by the feeling of lack of security, but being by myself, I chose to play it safe. The hotel was perfectly acceptable and I would recommend it to others, but with certain warnings that were explained above.
"Comfortable, clean, and very good value"

I spent two nights at The Angus. Yes, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are too, but everything was scrupulously clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi worked quite well too. The location is convenient, offering easy access to some great attractions and neighborhoods. Given the very high prices for accommodations in London, I was quite pleased with my choice.
"Perfect for what we wanted."
Yes the rooms are small as other reviewers have said, however if, like us, all you needed was somewhere to sleep so to be on an early Eurostar train, then it's perfect. The bathroom sink was minuscule, but we just washed in the perfectly good shower.
"TINY - CLEAN, WIFI"

Stayed here for 3 nights. Really laughed in the small room - no bigger then the double bed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom compact but shower worked great. Wfii was great. Nice little pub on the corner. Safe area. A little noisy but not after 10 - totally quiet. Weather was nice - don't know what we would have done if it rained. Across the block from St. Pancras. We ate in there and at the pub on corner. 5 minute walk at most to Eurostar. Worth the money.
"Small but does the job!"
Stayed here for the night when we went to London. It's very compact but the rooms are very clean and fully functional! Receptionist was very helpful and the free Wi-fi was a nice bonus. It's quite noisy but that's London for you! I'd stay here again but I'd ask for a room on a lower floor, those stairs half killed me :) Tea , coffee are provided in the room along with some very nice biscuits. A hairdryer is provided as well, which was a welcome sight as I hadn't brought mine! All in all, cheap and cheerful but does the job :)
"Sleeping with a mouse in the room"
07/05/14 Dilara A Milan, Italy
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and till the last night we were hearing noises but couldn't understand where it was coming from. Last night of our stay, we woke up to the noise and saw a mouse in one of our bags. As a couple we travel a lot and it was "the worst" experience sleeping with a mouse in the room and not knowing if it touched any of our belongings or not. When we mentioned this problem and wanted our money back (because for us, it is something that cannot be tolerated) they just made a very small discount which was nothing compared to what we paid.
"Quiet, clean, convenient and excellent value for money"

We were looking for a comfortable but inexpensive room for a night close to Euston station, we certainly found it. About 15 minutes walk from Euston Station (only 5 minutes from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations). The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but since we only slept, washed and dressed in it, this did not matter. No breakfast is available however we can heartily recommend the nearby Nivens Fine Foods for an excellent cooked breakfast. £95 for a quiet double-room at the edge of Central London, was significantly cheaper that a number of well-known budget hotel chain.
"Sweet London Dreams"

First trip to london and what an experience with my fiance. I thought London hotels were going to rip us off but we got this hotel fairly cheap and we were very impressed with the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful such a wonderful atmosphere, our room overlooked the garden which was in the centre of georgian terraced houses. The room was pristine nicer than premier inn in some ways for example the tea tasted better and washing facilities were nicer. We were only a few minutes away from the city and located in a nice quiet area away from the constant police sirens of London. The hotel was extremely quiet at night allowing us both a great nights sleep. On the last day we wanted to site see before heading back to the train station which was only round the corner from the hotel. They have cupboard were you can store your luggage and then pick up later which meant we could get a bit more out of our holiday without having to drag our luggage round. I would definatively stay there again, a wonderful experience.

Myself and my partner stayed here for two nights 24th-26th. Great location about 10min walk from euston station easy to find and very affordable very quiet area we was on the top floor or the building room 401 and lovely view out the window of the facing park. lovely and friendly staff and very helpful. Refill of tea and drinks are available on request. there is an area you can leave your luggage. Very comfortable beds. small but nice room. About half an hour walk to the west end from here I would stay here again and i do recommend it
"Great Location! Very Good Hotel!"
06/23/14 ManofPan Seattle, Washington
I stayed here twice during the same two week stay (checking out midway for a week-end excursion) and I have to say I was completely comfortable! The rooms are small but fine for 1 person (I didn't see double rooms so can't comment). It was comfortable, quiet, good WiFi and PERFECTLY located (a 2-3 minute walk at most from Kings Cross/St. Pancras stations). I couldn't ask for more! The staff was very friendly (Igor, Lobo, ...) and were helpful with quick checking in and checking out. While I checked out for a week-end adventure, I left my luggage there and it was perfectly secure when I returned. Although the second room I stayed in was smaller than the first, for one person both rooms were perfectly satisfactory!
