I was staying for 2 nights at tapir hostel. The place was very neat and clean. The bathroom was very modern and the place was very calm. The price/quality ratio was very nice and it is very close to the center of Warsaw.
"Not 24hr Reception & Not Super convenient location for sightseeing"

Good things about Tapir Hostel : Very clean, Spotless, Modern design (Many IKEA things), Very New, Centrally enough located for tourists, wifi connection. So photos provided by management are very true, not photoshop work done. There are 2 bathrooms, each of them is very private. You just have to share them with other guests. Inconvenient things about Tapir Hostel : Not 24 hours reception, Breakfast is not included, towel is not included (7PLN). Location is not really central for tourists. Location is not super for tourists, it is located in central but it is too far to get to typical tourist spots by walking. 15 minutes to get to the Centrum Metro Station. From there, probably another 20 or 25 minutes to get to Old Town. If you stay in Warsaw as a tourist, don't stay here, it's way too far for touristy places. There are more hostels closer to Old Town. Said that, this area is quite nice. You will feel more local atmosphere in there. There are nice restaurants, cafes. 3 blocks away from Central Train Station , Centrum Metro Station and Marriott hotel :) Reception is not open for 24 hours, which is very inconvenient. I was asked whenabotus I would be arriving, so I suspected non-24hour-reception. Bingo ! I had informed my arrival time, in spite of that, no one was at reception when I arrived. The same thing happened to my roomie in 4-bed-dorm. It is not professional. I could check in around 14 or 15 after the staff showed up finally. Then his duty was done on the day and left, so there was no one working at reception after around 15:00 onwards ..... It will be only around 8:00 in the morning that any staff comes back to reception. Of course, there is a cell phone left at the counter in case of emergency, but it is not convenient as a tourist. So,,, what I want to emphasize is don't walk in here without reservation in advance, No one might be sitting at reception. If you wanna stay here, you definitely book your bed in advance for safer idea. Just walking in will be a bit risky. If you want to buy Breakfast here, it can be served only after 8:30 it is because staff comes in only at 8:00. There is not so proper common space, it is only a sofa next to reception desk. This hostel is not meeting place. They don't keep enough cash, so pay with credit card, it looks credit card was more appreciated than cash.
"The best hostel in Warsaw"

I stayed at Tapir hostel 2 times! I just loved it. It is very very clean. It is very modern. The beds are soooo comfortable, so you will sleep like a baby! It is very quite (so, after a long day of discovering the city you will be sure that you can have a rest at night) And this hostel situated just 7 min away from the Warsaw central train station (by walk), shopping malls and 15 min by walk from all tourist sightseeings and Old town. Also, it tooks me about 20 min to get to the airport by taxi! Which is great! And I want to say a big THANKS to Alexandra. She was very helpfull. She answered all my question! So, if I will plan to go to Warsaw again I will choose this hostel for sure! By the way they have a great breakfast in the morning, which is really tasty! Thank you! Anna from Russia ❤
"Great value for small budgets"

Tapir hostel is located in the centre of Warsaw, only 10 minutes by foot from the main train station (Warszawa Centralna). The staff is very friendly and helpful, sheets and towels are included and they are clean. The rooms are small, but tidy and well-cared for with smart details such as anti-allergic mattresses in the designed bunk beds. Bathrooms are clean, too - perhaps also due to the fact that the hostel accomodates in total only 12 people. Maybe less a place for the party-lovers, but travellers who like a quiet and relaxed place for a city trip. The included breakfast was simple but filling and made a great start into the day. I would recommend this place to independent and older travellers, friends or small groups, who are looking for a central and clean place with great value for small budgets.
"Very comfortable and homely place"

My friends and I stayed here for two nights and it was great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, though a little small. There is WiFi throughout the hostel and the connection is good. Because it's such a small hostel, only four rooms from what I gathered, the place feels like someone's home. The bathrooms are very clean and you can use the kitchen at any time. Hairdryers are available upon request. Breakfast is included and is pretty good. The location is great as well as it is walking distance from an ATM, restaurants and the central train station. A few cons - the windows in the room don't have curtains. Also, the water setting in the shower is a bit off. We figured out that if both showers are being used at the same time then the water tends to fluctuate between warm and cool. Not a big problem though. Also, make sure you ask for the door code before heading out as there is no staff at night. Overall, a great stay. I liked how relaxed I felt here. I would stay here again!

The first hostel of our trip and we hope the Tapir hasn’t set our expectations too high for other hostels! The Tapir hostel is a small hostel with just 4 rooms, 2 dorm style and 2 double rooms. We opted for a double room which had bunk beds! Neither of us can remember the last time we slept in a bunk bed. The room was basic as you would expect in a hostel but very comfortable and had everything you need. The hostel has two modern bathrooms which are kept in a spotless condition, luckily we never had a problem but with only 2 bathrooms for 12 people we are sure at times there could be a long wait! Included in the price is a hearty breakfast, not cooked but filling nevertheless. The hostel has a very fast internet connection which works in the room. One thing we would change would be the lack of curtains. You have to wake up when the sun does and people in the next building can easy see your every move. We ended up using a towel as makeshift curtain! Also the walls are a bit thin so you can’t miss the young’ens coming in after a night on the Vodka. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and with a great location just a 5-10 min walk from the main train station we would recommend to other travellers. "Quick visit to Warsaw"
Good hostel if you will just use it to sleep. The price is very good. Breakfast is included, it is basic but hey, for this price you can't expect "grand luxe". It is close to central station, so that makes it easy to come by train from Chopin airport.
