"Nice Hotel well located"
I was over in the area for a training course. Hotel was very friendly and located in a nice area with restaurants and pubs close by. Room was very clean, a little small for a single but staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel if staying in the areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient London Hotel"
No reception, had to check in at the Melville across the road. Booked with breakfast included but reception said I would have to pay . Eventually got breakfast free of charge. Breakfast was at the Melville. When you open the door at the Albion there is a distinct smell of urine but once in your room it is clean and does not smell. The room was comfortable […] and very quiet. Breakfast room at Melville was newly furnished and very clean. Good breakfast. Very handy for Kings X and St Pancras and all the Restaurants and Bars Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"2.5/5 Hotel - Clean but generally disappointing"
First impression wasn't great having to check into the Albion at another hotels lobby and didn't get much better. Room was clean but small. On suite was tiny and access was restricted (door wouldnt open fully and had to step into). Spec inside was OK (TV / Coffee Machine / Hair Dryer) but no reception or service to speak of. The room I stayed in was […] next to front door which was very noisy when opened/closed and disrupted the nights sleep. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location of the hotel is not good. We used more than one hour to look for the hotel and the hotel the farthest from the King Cross Station. The arrangement of the hotel was a mess. I booked the and the staff let me to anothe hotel. Afterwards, he said the room had risk of fire and asked me to move anothe hotel. This Ablion house hotel was not r […] ecommended. "Good clean room. Basic but satisfactory"
Overall no major complaints You could argue the shower is a bit small and the coffee a bit basic, but neither a reason not to stop again. A little annoyed that last time I stayed I was placed in a ground floor room right next to the main door which meant I was kept awake everyone someone went for a cigarette Three guesses where they put this time? Though less noise from the smokers, most probably because it was cold this time round
"Practical and Convenient"
At this price so close to Kings Cross station and yet set in a quiet back street you can't do better! Yes they weren't serving breakfast due to refurbishment, and there was a little bit of noise from the tube but realistically these are minor issues. The room was clean and the bed was possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in.

Dirty, unfriendly, not wat we wanted at all. small and i mean small the bathroom was more like a ensuite for kids. The only good thing i can say abot here is it is close to tube and there is a a green in front of it, that is all. Looks lovely when u walk into it but it is all false the rooms are dirty and u couldnt swing a mouse in them let alone a cat. Never ever again.

We stayed at Albion House for 3 nights. We had our room several hours late without any compensation. Then we discovered the room. Very, very small room. OK, we're near St Pancras, it is very expensive, but the location is something. What is unacceptable is the unhealthiness of the room. A tiny bathroom, very disgusting, we seriously think about not washing for three days for not catching diseases. Flush toilet was not working properly and it takes nearly 20 minutes to evacuate, 20 minutes where you have to listen to little noises waterfall. The first night, we had difficulties to breathe until we open the window in the middle of the night to get some air. The bed was very bad and dirty. Pillows had dirt stains on them, comforter scratching and smelly. Everything in the room was disgusting. And 24/24, there is strong ongoing plumbing noises. Hopefully hygiene services will close this horrible hotel. To avoid.
"Perfect Location "
Me and my friend stayed here for two nights. It is in a perfect location, the tube and kings cross station was very close by making travelling anywhere nice and simple. It is on a quiet street with lots of local shops just a minutes walk away. We were greeted by a young receptionist who was very welcoming. We arrived earlier than stated so our room wasn't quite ready yet but they allowed us to leave our luggage with them which was great so we could start exploring straight away. Upon our return we were shown to our room which we was pleasantly surprised about. It was perfect for what we needed and extremely clean. The bathroom was very modern and also very clean. When it came to checking out the was a lovely gentleman on reception who informed us for £1 a bag we could leave our luggage until we was ready to leave. We had a late coach journey back so this was perfect and allowed us to enjoy our last day in London without the hassle of bags. It was a great hotel and I will definitely be returning in the future and recommending it to others

Service was really bad, the young man on the desk late at night merely grunted at us and reluctantly showed us to our room in a separate building across the road. The fact that it was raining and he was more bothered about getting the umbrella out for himself than hastening to get us there out of the wet weather was disappointing too. Once in the room which was supposed to accommodate three people we were left with a double bed and a single bed practically side by side with hardly any room to walk between. There were stains on the sheets too. Would not advise this hotel even for a quick stop over which is what we did.

Given the location in central London, a few minutes from King's Cross the price is competitive. The room was small but adequate, we needed somewhere to change and sleep not move into. Small bathroom - shaving was a little difficult, but we managed. Grouting in the shower could do with a bit of scrubbing to get it looking better. Read the in room book, it does explain about issues with the hot water in the bathrooms. We would stay there again, but would ask for a room lower down OK, the room (room 13) was small but with a bit on ingenuity you can find storage space for your luggage - we put the case on top of the wardrobe. The room was hot, so we opened the window, problem solved. GIven the hotel was so close to King's Cross we were surprised by the lack of traffic noise, very little to be heard. The bathroom w as

Room was so small we could not open bathroom door properly with cases in the room. There was only one cup and glass for a double room. Bathroom was very small with two shower curtains as shower as between loo and basin. We were charged £ 102 when amount agreed through booking.com was £100. We arrived late and reception in another hotel is confusing - only good thing was a man on reception very helpful and carried our bags. I would not reccommend it.
"Small room but fine for what we needed"
Room was tiny and neighbours very noisy. Also too hot but thats the weather and not the fault of the hotel! Not a good sleep because of heat and noise. Great location and clean. £74 for a one night stay with a discount offer. Expensive. But not expensive compared to neighbouring hotels with similar facilities.

We arrived at reception to get greeted by very rude staff, to then get taken across the road down a tiny staircase (with luggage, no help at all) into there basement and then to our room which could barley fit the 3 of us. Bathroom was awfully small toilet practically in the shower. Couldn't walk between beds and beds were uncomfortable. It was a struggle to fit in the room with our luggage as well Very poor customer service would not recommend, and location not so great nor did it feel safe. 0 out of 5 rating
