"great location @ Vancouver West End"
Great location. West End is supposed to be one of the hottest areas in town. Lots of bars and restaurants right in the area of the Hotel. Walking distance to Stanley Park and to Downtown shopping area. If you come by car, the complimentary(!) parking garage in the basement is absolute fantastic. You could drive in and unload your car right to the elevator. The […] suites are equipped with everything you need. The room size might be a little bit small, especially, if you also use the extendable couch as a bed. The air conditioning is not able to keep a constant temperature as it is only a small one in the living room. So, the air in bedroom tends to be a little bit close. Beside this one little issue, we had a fantastic stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This is far and away one of the best places I have stayed. Location, staff, and suite were all perfect. You can walk to Stanley and gas town very quickly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay here and liked the location, being close to so many restaurants and activities, like the beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location - near Coal Harbour, Robson shopping, Stanley Park & short walk to English Bay & Davie Village. The room & service was great! The staff were friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay here again"
Loved that all the places I wanted to hit were well within walking distance! Great cozy place! I would definitely stay here again especially for longer periods because of the kitchenette (only stayed one night, but it still came in handy). Private secure parking and balcony/patio were cool features.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Place to stay for Vancouver"
Fabulous location - walking distance from downtown, Stanley Park & waterfront & Davie St, close to lots of restaurants, 2 excellent supermarkets (whole foods & Safeway), lots of public transport buses & bicycle hire, local library and everything you could need. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet but shops were only a short distance […] away. Plenty of maps and tourist info on hand. Apartment was spacious enough for 2 and very comfortable and kitchen facilities were excellent. Free wifi worked well, although sometimes a bit slow. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Self contained accommodation in great position"
The staff were all friendly and helpful, we arrived early but had our bags looked after until the room was ready, which was earlier than expected. Our first stay for 5 nights was in Room 404, it is totally self contained and well looked after. Being on Robson Street it was a bit noisy and its aspect made it extremely hot, however our second stay was […] in Room 309, not quite so well appointed but at the rear of the building and quiet and not so stuffy. Not knowing Vancouver we took a chance on the Robson and were very happy that we did. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just a couple of blocks from Stanley Park."
Great location, very good service and a surprisingly good suite for the price with free secure parking an extra bonus. We would highly recommend the Robson Suites to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the West End in Vancouver.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice suites"
Clean rooms with loads if space. Not very far from downtown Vancouver. Free shuttle service. Rooms on the strees side are a bite noisy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place to stay. Small but well laid out rooms. Sofa bed a little small if your kids are 12+. Excellent location near to Stanley Park; bike hire place is 100m away. Comfortable walk to heart of town. Lots of decent places to eat across all price ranges in easy walk. Supermarket and liquor store across the road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location just off Robson Street"
Roomy suite with all the amenities including kitchen and separate bedroom. Air conditioner was noisy as most window units are plus was in the living room as opposed to the bedroom - good or bad depending on your preference. Bed and pillows were average for our tastes - personal preference again. Parking is free, heated underground - rare! WiFi was free […] and worked fine. Staff was very attentive to our needs and requests for information and flexible check in and out. Everything worked as expected and was clean. Location is just off the heart of Robson Street and a short walk to Stanley Park or Coal Harbor. Numerous eating options within 1-3 blocks. Depending on which way your room faces, evening activity on Robson could be noisy if windows are open. There are nicer places but few with the good location, suite style rooms and reasonable pricing. Good location. Comfortable and well priced. Starting to show some wear but nothting that impairs the stay. I will continue to stay here.Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent budget hotel"
01/18/15 Tetsuo S Vancouver, Canada
Well I enjoyed my stay at the Robson suites and recomend it: GOOD: Very nice location, lots of places to eat nearby, 7-11 two blocks down Robson and a safeway in front, lots of nice delicious places like the Nero waffle house and an excellent hole in the wall Japanese restaurant just downstairs beside the hotel. Also great location at downtown, close to nice trendy shopping areas. Very friendly staff. very professional The rooms are clean, very nicely appointed. BAD Parking while underground is cramped. corridors look old and musty. Elevator old but still works Pricing, somewhat expensive for a budget hotel but hey so are other lesser hotels in Vancouver. Conclusion: Highly recomend this place very nice place to stay in when visiting vancouver.
"Wonderful place to stay in Vancouver"

I love Robson Suites so much. They are so conveniently located on Robson right across Safeway. It has all needed facilities including well equipped kitchen including utensils! It has a nice indoor garage with secured access control. The hotel itself is well secured with a very helpful guard at night. The reception staffs are helpful, especially Coco who managed to find me very helpful information about Vancouver. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Vancovuer in the future.
"Returning to Robson Suites"

I somehow discovered Robson Suites a number of years ago and it has been my "go to" place in Vancouver for every visit. I have always preferred staying in the west end over the downtown core and Robson Suites offers everything I am looking for. The rooms are well sized, though not expansive. The 'spare' room off the entrance way makes up for the tighter bedroom space as a perfect place for luggage, coats and any extra paraphenalia. I appreciate a fully kitted out kitchen with 4 place settings, dishwasher, full-sized stove and fridge. This has always afforded me the option of cooking meals in suite or going out to the many restaurants in the area. This trip we cooked our traditional Chirstmas Eve dinner in the suite and had our daughter and a friend join us. Safeway and a liquor sotre are across the street. Whole Foods one block to the east, and a GREAT butcher shop about 2 blocks away on Denman. The staff are friendly and helpful and provide an added level of security. The elevators up to the floors and down to the parking area (included in suite cost) requires key card access and this adds to security. I also love a hotel that seems to have unlimited hot water and strong water pressure. It makes showers so pleasant. Robson Suites also has larger, soaker style tubs for those that just love to relax in hot water. Wireless internet is complimentary in the suites. It requires a sign-in and password, and at times requires you to sign in again everytimes that you have left the suite with your device. If staying a little longer, or for those spills that need cleaning there is in-suite washer and dryer There is also an in suite safe in the closet. Some of the wooden furniture is a little worn and chipped in spots, but not a big deal. Bed is comfortable and there is a pull out bed in the living room. Small enclosed balcony off of the living room with windows that open. For the location this building is very quiet. You never hear anyone else through the walls, and rarely hear traffic. This time our room faced Robson Street and there was virtually no disturbance from traffic or those on the street. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We spent 2 nights at the Robson Suites, and walked to Yale town for a lovely dinner at the Hamilton Street Grill the first night. The second night we went to a hockey game, and would have walked, if the weather had been better. During the second day, we walked up to Denman, to English Bay, and then back to a lovely lunch at Cadero's near the Bayshore. The hotel was good, the bedroom a bit small, but for a couple of days it was fine. The staff were very accommodating, and cheerful. Having free secure parking, was an added bonus(very rare in Vancouver). The noise can be heard from the street, in the rooms facing Bidwell, with the windows closed. The kitchen is very well stocked, although with all of of the restaurants/cafes close by, not overly used this trip. Lots of shopping, within a very distance. Next time I will book direct, rather then go through a third party. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
"Great location & consistently good"

We have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 years, each time we go to or pass through Vancouver. Conveniently located on Robson street, close to Whole Foods, Safeway, and great Restaurants. A short walk to Downtown, and a perfect jumping off place to explore Stanley Park; or anywhere else in Vancouver for that matter. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and include a full suite of in-room appliances. We will undoubtedly book this place again on our next swing through Vancouver.
"Location is Everything"

We were looking for a place with a kitchenette at a reasonable price and we found it with Robson Suites. We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen, large bathroom and small balcony. I asked for a top floor room, but there were none available. We stayed on the 3rd floor facing Bidwell Street. The building is very secure with real keys to get in and out of the parking garage. You need a card key for the elevator to work. Having a secure parking area that was complimentary was most certainly a bonus. Also the wi-fi was strong and worked very well. When staying here, one is within walking distance to Stanley Park and the shopping district of Robson. We were even adventurous and walked to Gastown (about 30 minutes away on foot). The location is great as a Safeway is across the street and a myriad of restaurants within one block (literally Dutch, African, Ukrainian, Japanese, Malaysian and Korean food restaurants to chose from). What I didn't care for was the non-sound proof windows. The sounds of the city do filter in at night. The bed was not very comfortable and the bedroom was very small. However, for the price and location, this place is ideal.
"Nice hotel for a fair price"

Got a voucher for one night stay at the Robson suite for my family. This is our first trip to Vancouver. The one-bed room suite is spacious and great for a family with two young kids. They enjoy the sofa-bed and the TV. Good location. Walking distance to the attraction sites. Free and secured parking.
"Exceeded My Expectations"

I booked a quick one night stay at the Robson Suites after a business trip in Vancouver. I booked through Groupon and got a deal of about $119 for a one bedroom suite. Overall, this hotel well exceeded my expectations and offered me much more than I expected, especially for the price I paid. The location is prime and I found the hotel easily while walking from the Canada Line (airport train) at Vancouver's main rail station, only about a 15min walk. The walk takes you through some great shopping and beautiful restaurants. You could also take transit but I opted to walk. The location is prime for exploring the city and nothing seemed far away. A liquor store and grocery store as well as a bank (CIBC) were all across the street, a Whole Foods was a few minutes down Robson. I was able to check in early, a bonus on the rainy day that I arrived. The room was on the second floor and looked exactly as advertised. I must say it was much larger than it looked though and there was plenty of space to enjoy. The kitchen was also better equipped than expected and would be fine for a range of cooking, though I'm no chef. Bathroom was a little smaller than expected, but lighting and amenities were excellent in there. Bed was comfy and overall the room was well appointed, though a tad dated. Lots of closet space which would have been amazing if I was staying longer, also in suite laundry which I wasn't aware of. Finally, being on the second floor I had a balcony that was absolutely huge! It was a shame I wasn't there in summer, as I'd have definitely enjoyed it! Overall, highly recommend for a night or a long stay. Service was very friendly, room was larger than expected, amenities (kitchen, laundry, balcony) were all fantastic, and location is prime. Will certainly be back!
"Great Location, Spacious Accommodation, First Class Customer Svc"
12/20/14 outriggersis2 Seattle, Washington
Bought a voucher for two nights on Groupon for my daughter and myself to enjoy her birthday week. We hadn't been to Vancouver in 5 years and thought some mother/daughter shopping time on Robson would be great. Excellent location. Next door to McDonalds. Across the street from the liquor store and Safeway. About 2 blocks from our favorite Chinese eatery, Hons. And they have free one way shuttle service to any spot within the downtown area. We went to the Vancouver Art Gallery and saw the Forbidden City exibit. We shopped and shopped. We ate and ate. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Free secure parking in the garage below. The people at the front desk were so friendly and offered sightseeing advice when we asked. Our unit was so big there was a room we didnt even go in. For me the best part was I did a quick load of laundry right before we packed up and left so I only had clean clothes in my suitcase on the way home. Lovely visit. Thank you.
"Well-priced, superb location, helpful staff"
12/20/14 VivekH Mumbai (Bombay), India
The hotel is situated about twenty steps from Robson St which is a major road in west Vancouver. The location is excellent - tons of great eating options within a short walk: Korean, Thai, Greek, Chinese, kebabs, waffles, tea/coffee, desserts... quite a foodie paradise. We were there for 5 days and there was enough variety and all of it very good to keep us satiated. There's a large Safeway across the road where one can pick up breakfast makings or fruit etc. To work off all that eating, Stanley Park is a ten minute walk away and Robson St. itself is uphill and downhill and offers plenty of exercise while window shopping. There's free underground parking for residents and the room was astonishing: a little living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a luggage storage room - quite a little apartment! Each individual room was small, but the overall effect was very comfortable indeed. The desk staff were very helpful with directions, eating recommendations and were very friendly and fun to chat with (and of how many hotels can you say that?). Heartily recommended for a long or short stay in Vancouver.
