"FANTASTIC location but...."
The location could not have been better. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. We even had a view of the bell tower from our window. Everything was in walking distance. My only 2 complaints were that breakfast is not on site. It is close but the waiter at the restaurant was a little curt with the hotel guests and menu for the hotel guests […] is VERY limited unlike some of the other Italian hotels we stayed at. Also, we could get the fan to work but not the air conditioning so our room was very stuffy at night. We were only there a short time so we didn't bother to ask them to fix it but there is no one there at the office at night anyway. Kind of disappointing to pay so much money for an overheated room. Otherwise, a beautiful room in a perfect location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Arrived at Florence airport, got bus, off bus and walked to B&B. Google the location and trust it. Easily missed look out for the number 8 and go up the internal stairs. Lovely staff an we had a room facing the opposite side to street so very quiet. Out and turn left for one minute walk to Duemo or turn right for four minute walk to Michael Angelo.........perfect […] for food, coffee, ice cream and more. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, clean, comfortable but a bit noisy! "

We stayed here for 4 nights in sept for our visit to Florence. The hotel is in a fab central location, the rooms nicely decorated with big comfy bed and nice bathroom and all the staff really friendly. My only minor complaints were... We requested a quiet room which admittedly at night was quiet however there was a building site outside our window, we could literally touch the scaffolding it was that close and we were woken at 7am every morning by the workmen shouting and banging around and also any chance of an afternoon nap was ruined as well. I understand the this is completely out of the hotels control however it did impact on our stay and also when requesting a quiet room, to open your window and find a building site less than 2 feet away is not ideal really. Also our room was just off from the reception so you're subjected to noise of people sitting around outside your bedroom door waiting to check in/out. Most mornings we woke to an odd smell, like a sewage smell in the bathroom which seemed to be coming from the shower - maybe could do with some drain cleaner?? Lastly, the restaurant where you get breakfast, Konnubio which is a 5 min walk away offers buffet breakfast which was good, except this is the only buffet breakfast I've ever known which doesn't have a toaster, baskets and baskets of bread, rolls and pastries etc but no toaster?? Why? We ate here one evening for my husbands bday as the food was excellent, not great wine but the food and service was really good. All in all we would recommend this b&b and would stay here again, just don't forget your ear plugs!

we stayed here for our trip in florence, rooms are nice and central but we had problems with an annoying noise that dont let us sleep, with a strange smell which did not allow to open the window to admire the cathedral and breakfast. They sent in a bar konnubio two blocks away, and when we arrived the girl in the bar told us that it was too late for the breakfast granted and we had to settle for a coffee and a croissant ... nice place but the next time i would like to find the right silence the proper cleaning and also the real breakfast

Florence was the the second town we visited on our last trip. We arrived with train from Rome and figured out the B&B is 10 minutes walk from the train station, very easy to walk to and located only a short walk from Duomo. The room was upgraded (or changed) to a duplex apartment with separate kitchen and living room plus a small bedroom upstairs on the 4th floor. Thankfully the small vintage lift was working. The view was very lovely straight to Duomo, beautiful scenery during sunset. After staying in Rome on a modern designed room, this room was modest but feels old and a bit dusty. Big plus were the Jacuzzi, a good wifi and a bottle of wine to welcome us! Breakfast was provided in a near by cafe, but we got distracted by McDonalds so didn't take it. In summary it was a quite nice stay in a very best location (everything was max 10 minutes away with bike!) . We stayed only for a night but didn't take that long to fell in love with Florence :)
"Magical stay in Florence"

Booked this place on a real bargin deal so our expectations were not too high. Therefore we were over the moon with what we discovered. We took the Terravision shuttle from Pisa Airport to the train station in Florence which is super cheap and convenient and we walked from the station to the b&b, found it no problem a 10 minute walk away. The location immediatly blew us away, seconds from the amazing Duomo and in a lovely building. Our greeting was warm and welcoming with super knowledgable staff providing map and recommending things to see during our stay. We stayed in the Leonardo room, right opposite the reception desk and it was beautiful. we were greeted with a bottle of prosseco on the bed, a basket of fruit and plenty of coffee making facilities. I love the fact that each room is different and based on a famous figure of the area. The room was very large and spacious. spotless and clean with a big comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The fridge is a welcome addition also. Bathroom again very nice, great shower! We didnt bother with the TV but the wifi connection was spot on. Overall it was the perfect room to come back too after a long days sightseeing. Loved the big doors opening out onto the street below too. Location is the best feature of this accomodation. Within 10 mins walking distance of pretty much all the major sights yet nice and quiet in the evening. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby also. Overall we felt very at home as this beautiful place and we actually got engaged while there which makes it all the more special for us. Will be returning next year for sure. oh, forgot to mention breakfast, served at a cafe a couple of streets down was very good. coffee was great and a great selection of cereals, yoghurts, meats, pastries etc not to mention the cheesecake which was definitley a first for me at breakfast time. Was perfect to set us up for the day. lovely place too! Also, if you are looking for a jam packed day whilst in the area i highly recommend the Walkabout 'taste of tuscany' tour. check out reviews of them on here, best day of our trip by far!
"Fantastic location, great accommodation"

Located a 10 minute walk from the railway station and 50 metres from Duomo this is in the centre of the action and close to all the major attractions. It is great to be able to take a break during the day without having to travel, and then to get back into the sightseeing. Everything is virtually at your door step. The staff are friendly and our room was very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Despite the location it was also very quiet. Coffee and tea making facilities are in the room as is fresh fruit each day. Breakfast is available a short walk to a restaurant and includes a good range of cold options. We were stunned that the quality of this B&B was available at such a convenient location. Highly recommended and would stay longer next time. Ticks all the boxes

Only a short walk from the Duomo is this small pleasant stay in Florence. The rooms have been recently renovated, nice shower with wall showers as well. Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant and is more than sufficient. Wi fi operated well. Great to be able to so close to everything. The bells from the Duomo could be heard chiming but not so loud as to wake you.

We were nine in the room and apartment, yet we were extremely comfortable and felt at home. The location is excellent, a few meters from the Duomo, along a wide shopping street. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and sweet. They also speak many different languages and are always smiling. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
"Very convenient B&B"

Let me start by the location. It takes one 30 seconds to get from the room to the Dome square, and practically a maximum of a 10 minute walk to all the important sites of Florence. The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. I was with a party of 6 so we rented the apartment. It comes with a kitchenette that includes a fridge, stove and dishwasher. The staff are really helpful and they respond to anything you ask from them. Great great place.

Nice place with friendly staff. Absolutely top location. Great pick for those who stays in Florence for couple of nights. Clean rooms. Elevator was a challenge especially if you have a luggage and a child.
"Great location great value for money"

I spent just one night at this B&B. It is conveniently located in the hearth of Florence, just a few steps away from the Duomo and Uffizi but enough far from the noisy crowd of the square. My room was fairly large with large windows and an open view on the street. Friendly staff and breakfast served in a well famous bar in front of the Duomo make the staying lovely. Unfortunately only the overall condition of the building was not perfect and the lift is too small for 2 people and a couple and baggages
