"Stylish small apartment in quiet residential area"
Excelent small apartment with exquisitely comfortable bed and luxury bathroom with pampering Aesop toiletries. An interesting ex brewery conversion sitting on top of a design/architecture publishing house in a great area to the east of the City. Room with kitchenette fully met the on-line description. A stylish room perfect for exploring the delights […] of Amsterdam on foot, bike or public transport. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location & accommodation"

We booked 3 rooms for 1 night, from the start we received a great welcome & made to feel at home. All 3 rooms were spacious, clean, light & airy. Location is good, 15/20 min walk from the centre. The owner was very quick & efficient, ordering our taxi to the airport & giving us directions on where we were going etc. lovely being able to sit on the terrace & relax too. Would definitely recommend.

I can't thank enough for everything. This bed & breakfast is just perfect!! Location is very quit and still 15 minutes walk from city center (even with a baby stroller). The room was more than perfect…size, details, amenities, bed comfort… and the people make us feel so welcome, we wanted just to stay there. Unfortunately they did not have availability for our week stay in Amsterdam, so we only stay 3 nights. But, next time I'll book with more time in advance and will consider changing dates if they don't have availability. Don't look further. This place is PERFECT!!!!

The staff were fantastic, more than helpful and accommodating. The room had everything we needed, was spacious, and great design features. Breakfast, even though it was an added cost, was delicious. Perfect stay.
"Design lovers dream"

Stout & Co. is an aesthetic gem. From the time you walk in the door you will discover many small details. Small details that may not seem like much, but for a design lover like me this is a dream without equal. The rooms are decorated with small details and they are of course, color coordinated. We speak furniture from Eames, pillows from Hay, coffee machine from Nespresso, bath articles from Aesop. Small and very beautiful stationware things like notepad, pencil, etc. is available in the room – and they are very beautiful. There is located sleek design magazines, including Wallpaper Magazine and Kinfolk. And finally, a minibar actually worth something; organic and local products. Extremely well thought. After (unfortunately only) one night in the nicest bed I stood up to the most amazing you could wish for. Nothing fancy, thankfully, but a simple breakfast done to perfection with the best products on the market: Coffee / tea, freshly squeezed juice, fresh cut fruit salad, yogurt with their homemade granola, soft boiled eggs, various spreads, a wooden board with locally produced cheeses and charcuterie. All this was served with great and still warm bread from the local bakery, Le Perron. Everything was served in bit after bit rather than all at once, which I loved. You simply sat in your own thoughts with a book, relaxed, and then delicious dishes arrived regularly. The breakfast was simply a chapter in itself. No, wait – Everything during this stay was special. I travel quite a lot and - whenever possible – I always stay at design hotels, but this surpasses everything. It is personal, it is heart-warming and it is simply fantastic. Thanks to the lovely owners. Thanks to Stout & Co. Thanks for everything.

Staying with 4 couples for a weekend, we had a great time at Stout&Co. The owners are a small team of young entrepreneurs who know how to pamper their guests. The interior design is simple but high-end and stylish. Bed linen is top quality, the rooms are spic and span, high speed wifi is included. In the rooms, you can hear some street noise but the earplugs supplied by the B&B solve this issue. Don't be afraid of the distance to downtown Amsterdam: It's within walking distance. I strongly recommend the breakfast freshly made of local products.
"BELGO-DUTCH DESIGN DOWNTOWN A'DAM"

Yes, this sounds just too good to be true, but read on. This typical Dutch residential facade unfolds like a brilliant, however far more modern babushka. Upon entering, you are welcomed warmly into the former brewery now turned architect's den. The first floor offers a surreal walkway terrace - considering where you are exactly - connecting all entrances to six classy bedrooms. The luxury of these almost identical rooms - differing only in mood and deft detail - stretches from the heavenly depth of your bed's cushions to the sumptuous Aesop smells and perfect spoil-me breakfast. The gentlemen - in every sense of the word - who own, run, feel and feed this wonder are ever so inspired and inspiring. The highly original and comfortable seats were designed by Stefan Bennebroek himself and together with Steven Delva he is finishing off a superb loft on top of all this glory. A must-see, must-feel, must-experience.

Beautiful environment to stay on, on quiet street on edge of town. Every last detail has been thought about. Loved all the beautiful design features, so far from any normal B&B. Great service too from Amber - really looked after us and helped us make the most of our weekend.
"What a find in our hometown. A real gem!"

My girlfriend treated us to a weekend-away-in-our-own-city, and what a treat it was! Stout & Co surpassed our expectations, from the moment we opened the door to leaving the next with a feeling that we'd like to stay for a week. This place is cool. Hidden away in a part of Amsterdam where we don't come too often, behind an unassuming facade. But once you step inside, you enter a bright, airy, impeccably decorated - yet never in your face - awesome building. The rooms were great too, with nice little touches everywhere. Both the owners and Amber, the host, were friendly, talkative and relaxed. And breakfast was scrumptious. Go there. You'l love it.
"Home away from home"

This newly converted bed and breakfast is on a charming street in a historic, residential area of Amsterdam. The rooms are spacious and the design has been carefully considered. The breakfast area is a lot of fun with its wall mural. There are restaurants and bars close by, the Maritime museum and the wonderful zoo are one street away and all the tourist destinations are easy to reach by public transport, or by bike if you are brave enough!
"Excellent week end"
