"Damac Maison hotel for relax"
It is a very good family hotel, the location is bad because of the constructions around the areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Undoubtedly in the top tier of hotels."
I would heartily recommend the Damac Maison. It exemplifies the better qualities of hotel living. It has glamour & sophistication. It has a prime, downtown Dubai location. The lobby & public areas- are impeccably deorated in marble & gold. The front desk staff went out of their way to be hospitable. Service requests were swiftly & courteously handled. Certain […] floors possess grand vistas of the surrounding metropolis & to the distant Arabian Desert. Extra large rooms, or small suites- complete the picture. The Damac Maison is a pretty new hotel next to the Dubai Mall... The facilities are great along with the rooms (great views of the Burj Khalife)! The service is also good as well. The only issue is that the property is surrounded by new construction projects and there isn't a paved road to the hotel. Not a real issue unless you decide to walk back to […] the hotel from the mall. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Love this hotel!"
Thank you Lana and staff for making my honeymoon one to remember. Despite the construction surrounding this hotel it's great. Closest to Dubai Mall and they have free shuttle service every half hour. Our room was like an apartment so spacious, clean, beautiful decoration. We had a perfect view of the Burj Khalifa and did not want to leave. The rooftop […] spa, gym, jacuzzi and pool with the lounge area and shisha bar was magnificent. We will def be back here again with friends. Were def staying at this hotel! "Nice hotel close to Dubai Mall"
When you drive in to the hotel you feel you are in the desert. It is because the driveway is NOT ready, all full with dusts. Other then that the hotel and the staff is very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel is close to shopping mall"
I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come to Damac again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very close to the Dubai mall"
Construction, construction and more construction. This hotel is no different from the rest of Dubai. The hotel is in the final stages of completion, inside and out. The entrance again is no exception, difficult to acceces due to construction everywhere. The Hotel staff really do make the difference, the level of service they provide is unparalleled, […] truly second to none. Spa facilities and amenities are great. "Good location, great staff"
I booked at the last minute and booked purely on the proximity to the Burj Khalifa. The hotel opened in December 2013 so some things had yet to be completed, such as the road to the hotel and the front desk being repainted. The room was large, had a great view of the Burj Khalifa and was really close to the Dubai Mall. The bed was one of the most comfortable […] I'd slept in for a while. The restaurant was good, with excellent (and cheap) breakfasts and superb staff. On the down side is that the hotel is dry and no alcohol is served. It would have been the perfect end to a long day sightseeing to sit on the terrace and relax with a beer. Also, there is a lot of construction around the hotel so can be noisy on the balcony in daylight hours. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great!! But not good access"
Great! Hotel. Nice sevices and kind staffs but one problm is that area is still progress of developement. It's hard to find access road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Now not suitable to stay as it is inside cons.area"
1) When we look goggle earth, as if hotel was very close to Dubai Mall, but as it is located inside the big construction area, to reach mall is about 1 km by walk. Namely there is not easy way to Mall. 2) So there isa lot of noise coming from construction area 3) Taxi drivers also don't know the hotel address and the route of hotel, because there is […] only one way to reach the hotel,if you miss this way, you should turn back about 5 or more miles.4) For all these reasons, hotel rates is very expensive Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic aside from the World Cup Rip Off"
07/13/14 graemeboro Darlington (uk)
Having chosen to fly with Emirates to Thailand we decided to take advantage of the stop in Dubai and spend some time in this amazing place. This hotel is ideally situated right opposite Dubai Mall and taxi rides to other attractions such as the Palm and Atlantis Waterpark, Dubai Creek and Dubai Museum are short and quite reasonable price wise. The whole area is however a construction site so you cannot walk anywhere at all and you will need a Taxi even to get to the mall as the hotel is opposite a busy dual carriageway. I would hope/expect that in time a foot bridge would be built to avoid this problem going forward. Usually the hotel operates a shuttle bus service to the mall however as we were there during Ramadan this was cancelled until 7.00pm meaning we had to pay for taxis. I must say I don’t understand this as the mall was still open and taxis were still operating during Ramadan. The service and the room itself were both excellent and we well treated from the moment we arrived, the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The room was opulent, new and spacious with a lovely balcony and view of the desert and sky scrapers. My wife even commented that she could happily live there and I agree! The free wifi was also a welcome bonus. The only disappointment of the whole stay was what I call the “world cup rip off”. We stayed during the World Cup and I was hoping to catch some of the games but could not find any channels in my room so rang reception to ask. I was advised that games were “not available” in the room so I would have to go to the bar to watch. On the face of it this was not a problem, indeed a good excuse to spend a bit of time watching the matches. However when my wife and I arrived at the bar area near the pool this consisted of smoke filled tents packed with people watching big screens, not the best of environments. We were quickly approached by a waitress who advised us that to watch the game there was a minimum spend of 175AED each or £27 each!! So over £50 to watch a football match on TV! I regularly go to football games and don’t pay this so am I really going to spend this amount of money to watch on TV? I have never encountered this in any other hotel (following this we travelled across Thailand without this issue). To me this is symptomatic of the Dubai greed culture that is apparent when visiting this city. Don’t get me wrong I understand business and the need to make a profit but things like this do smack of extreme greed and taking advantage of the customers! So overall a great hotel just don’t expect to watch any sporting event when there without paying through the nose!!!
"Amazing Hotel and customer service"

Spent 4 nights at the Damac Maison and couldn't recommend it highly enough. On arrival we immediately got an upgrade to a room on the 38th floor overlooking the Burj Kalifa. The room was an apartment with a fully fitted kitchen, sitting and dining area and 2 bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and amazing views. The staff are so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They are a credit to the hotel industry. The pool is perfect and even though the hotel is in the middle of a building sight we were never aware of it at any time. The only issue was directing the taxis to the hotel. They didn't appear to know where it was and the entrance to the site can be difficult for them to find. Great value hotel and I will definitely return. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
"Awesome hotel and customer service!"

I went to Dubai for vacation and to celebrate my son's birthday. The entire Dubai experience was incredible! However, what added to the fantanstic experience was the hospitality and room at Dumac Maison. The hotel staff went out of its way to ensure that we had everything we needed (from a ride to/from the airport, a driver to get around the city, advice about adventure trips, restaurant and shopping tips, etc...). The hospitality was synonymous with that received at Four Season Hotels (in the U.S.). I was so impressed that I wanted to view Dumac's investment opportunities (for which there are plenty). The staff arranged for me to speak to a salesperson at the property and they took me to various properties, to include their new golf community, AKOYA, where Donald Trump is building beautiful homes. They also have a number of hotel apartments in which you can invest...where you can buy whole floors of buildings even...(which is something that we don't routinely offer in the U.S.). It was different from just buying the penthouse floor of a hotel. I had a 2-Bedroom (2.5 bath) apartment style room, which was absolutely stunning. The master bath was simply gorgeous. The room had a wrap-around balcony that allowed me to see the Burj Khalifa and the Burj fountain. I slept with all of my curtains drawn throughout the hotel room simply because the views were so stunning from all sides! Water provided daily at no cost (unlike in the U.S.). 24-hr room service. The hotel staff also acknowledged my son's birthday and surprised him by bringing a beautiful cake, fruit basket, and sparkling grape to our room! It was a wonderful touch. The spa is also fantastic! Dumac Maison is steps from the Dubai Mall...and the hotel has a shuttle that can take you there (every 30 mins)...and although there is construction going on around the property, you can't hear a sound from within the hotel, which is weird since the crews seemingly work 24-7. Once the construction is completely, there will be a direct walkway to the Mall I believe. All of the construction just points to Dubai's and Dumac's continual growth! Thanks Damac Maison staff for making my Dubai vacation a wonderful one!
"Dirty room and lack of customer service"
06/07/14 Sheileesheels Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Started off poorly. Despite informing them that we would be arriving on a very early 2 am flight and booking the room an extra day earlier and calling them to confirm that our room would be ready when we got to the hotel.....myself, my husband and our two children still had to wait for them to get the room ready. I booked a fountain view room. Instead we were given a room with a view of a construction site. Explanation given to me was that the hotel had overbooked. How is that my fault again??? The room given to us was dirty. It had stains on the couch, stains on the carpet, and had a slight smell of smoke even though I had requested a non-smoking room. Because it was around 3 am in the morning, we were told there was nothing they could do for us until the next day and we had no choice but to stay in the room for one night. We immediately checked out of the hotel the next day. I will never ever stay at this hotel again....not even for free.
"Decent Spa experience"
05/14/14 Kushal2687 Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
I will review the Spa. I went here with a Groupon voucher. The access to the Hotel is a bit difficult due to dusty under construction roads but this is temporary. The spa has good facilities, has an attractive gold and black decor. The marble jacuzzi is large and quite comfortable. The pool and gym is the USP of this place, it has a good view of Burj Khalifa. The massage experience though was strictly average. The therapist did not have a good technique and after the 1 hour session my muscles hardly felt any difference.
"Wonderful place to stay"
05/10/14 Ypcbeam Grindelwald, Switzerland
Yes, the hotel is in the middle of a building site. Yes, the Dubai Mall is only 2 steps away, but due to the building around the hotel, one has to take a taxi. Yes, taxis sometimes take a little long to come and yes it is a "dry" hotel, no alcohol available. But, the hotel is absolutely wonderful. Is stayed there for a week and hated to leave. My apartment on the 34th floor offered me a unique view over the skyline of Dubai. To have a balcony was simply wonderful. The apartment was very comfortable, absolutely perfect. The staff was very, very friendly and efficient. Everybody was very nice and very helpful, the staff at the restaurant, at the concierge desk and also at the reception, there I remember Ashker. Not many guests are eating at the hotel, but the food is excellent. I especially enjoyed the brunch buffet on the weekend. Would I return, I would immediately book that place again. I am sure, once the building site gone, the rates will go up sky rock, because what you now get for the money you pay, it is simply a bargain.
"Over the top"

It was indeed great to come back to this hotel with my family. My wife and my 6year old daughter loved the room facing the burj khalifa. Tarik the restaurant manager was very welcoming. I must thank the front desk managers ahmed and Ramesh for taking care of my problems during the stay and they are the asset of this lovely place.
"Top Apartment Hotel in the near future"
04/22/14 Hend E
Location: Excellent ! It's almost close to everything. The negative part of it is that there's no walking space in the hotel surrounding. In other words, once you step out you need to get a cab to go anywhere. As far as I know there's no supermarket or restaurant or anything around unless you have a car or willing to walk in the desert in construction sites. The good part is that the hotel facilitated going to Dubai Mall by a cozy Mercedes van that transfers guests to the mall every 15 mins throughout the day. It doesn't take you back though so you'll still need to stand in the taxi line on the way back. Apartments: Very clean and pleasant with nice long balconies. It was cool to have fridge, hair dryer, cooker and washing machine but no microwave though !! They provide nice spa materials from elemis (tiny free samples) which is ok. Staff: That was one key plus at the new hotel! The Egyptian guys Mohamed, Islam, Yasmeen and other like Diana, Austin at the pool and everyone else are extremely nice and hospitable. The spa ladies are helpful too even though their manager Christina isn't as cooperative. Facilities: Very clean and rich gym and superb spa facilities really made my stay for 10 days at Damac. I used the gym almost everyday then enjoyed the sun by the pool side. Despite the construction around I took some lovely view shots for burj Khalifa from the hotel and my apartment on the 35th floor. http://instagram.com/hendeltaweel I'd also like to thank Damac for the free Arabic coffee and cookies at the lobby, free cookies is always a heartwarming idea. I'll definitely visit again at the soonest convenience !
"Very Nice Hotel very close proximity to Dubai Mall"
04/21/14 IlyasH_13 Amsterdam
I would like to thank all the Staff at the Damac Maison for making my stay a very pleasant one, especially Ms. Lana who was very helpful and sorted out minor issues with TV reception and room promptly. There is a lot of building work going on around the hotel but there is no disturbance to sleep and the walk over to Dubai Mall is only 10-15mins. The Hotel provide a regular shuttle service to the Dubai Mall but you have to make your own way back.
